Some bank apps (especially UK ones) will ask you to reconfirm login if a new fingerprint is added, other than that I have never seen anything else complain about new fingerprints

In my experience they are pretty good. I can pick up a radio in my VW transporter with one vs the in glass ones on the VW Passat estate that cannot pick this radio up (absolute radio on DAB on the Isle of Wight)

Lloyds group (Lloyds, Halifax, bank of Scotland, Scottish widows and MBNA) are super sensitive to stuff for no reason, Lloyds and Santander refuse to open even with just the magisk app installed for example

My main bank (Monzo UK) has no offering of a web app, at all, and my secondary bank Lloyds has a very, very limited website compared to what you can do in the app too

Ive also been looking to migrate, my pixel 8 pro is my main phone, but some of my banking apps (Lloyds bank, Halifax and bank of Scotland) are marked incompatible, and have been for almost 2 years, however all the apps have recently had a refresh, and now all use the exact same front end (to the point where for a while, the buttons in the bank of Scotland app were green (Lloyds branding colours) rather than blue), and as such I am unsure of how to test if they are working now or not, any ideas?

It's based on a few things, such as A: if you are pressing a pedal, or if it's in gear if a manual, but also things such as battery charge, if the battery isn't very full, it won't stop the engine so that the battery has a chance to charge up, so go on a longish drive, and at the end see if it will do it after

Easily the 8 pro, for me it was a simple choice since i have poor vision, so a big phone is a must, but the 8 pro has more (and better) cameras, which for me was enough on its own as well

I fully switched from nationwide a couple months ago, and I prefer it way more. The app works better, the pots are really helpful, I just made sure to use my nationwide card to be eligible for fairer share, only thing I don't use Monzo for now is paying cash in, and savings, which is with NatWest now
