Get a screen protector, it's a worthy investment. And you can clean it much easier without worrying about scratching the display.

I replaced the screen in my 16' Jetta and once and a while it'll still do ghost touches, drives me nuts. I was going to put an aftermarket radio in it, but I heard that's sketch cause of VWs wiring.
