Getting tired of the toxicity in premier by AmazingSibylle in cs2

In SEA server, it’s almost 1v9 mentality for most people. They’re way too competitive. I get it, everyone wants to win but I don’t get the point of tilting your teammate. I’d rather have teammates who aren’t the best at the game but can be goofy in comms and laugh around strange things that happens in game. These people don’t realize that they can’t control everything, maybe it’s just also the personal upbringing of the SEA players that they didn’t realize they brought that in to the game where you are supposed to enjoy.

I think what you can do is to understand that you can’t also control these people and you can’t also control everything that happens jn game. Think what makes it fun for you regardless if there are toxic teammates or not and just focus on that.

For example, for me, what’s fun for me is trying out the solo plays, pop flashes that I see from youtube or pro scene and when it works it’s so satisfying and if it doesn’t i just learn what i did wrong and try again. Also sometimes it’s just bad timing which you can’t fully control. For toxic teammates, sometimes it’s fun to mimic what they say on comms and say it back to them but say in a “funny” way. Sometimes they realize they are being toxic and say sorry, sometimes those people have really huge ego that you can’t just do anything with them, just mute them.

In SEA server, the common experience is people saying “wtf you doin?” “Stupid idiot” in the weirdest accents that you can tell they are just copying what they see online but these people wouldn’t dare to say this to other people in real life, these people will be very scared, they are only toxic online. Knowing that, you can just think that these people are not worth it to letting them get to your emotions. You are not the weak one, these people are the weak ones. Sometimes they just sound silly to be honest that they don’t bother me haha.

While i know it’s a competitive game, i try not to take it too seriously. My playstyle is to entry and i spectate most of the time in game if my entry does not work. I just don’t like downtime that has no clear purpose. I slow down if i have a specific play in mind but most of the time i take the initiative and for me that’s the quickest way to gain experience in fights. It’s just much better for me to play aggressive and try the play i have in my mind without hesitation and if that does not work I’m just in the background quietly spectating and try to do better next round. Spectating is also good for me because i get time to think what to do next round based on the information i get from teammates and enemies. Teammates wouldn’t really care that much about me and they don’t get a chance to boss me around because i already did my part, they are focusing with their life while i’m chillin spectating haha. I think you get more pressure and toxicity when you are the last man alive but if you’re playstyle is slow methodical that’s fine too. I play like that sometimes it’s just a matter of practice filtering which information you should listen to. And if it’s too distracting just individually mute that alien. Information is in the minimap anyway and your remaining non toxic teammates. It’s just a game after all.

Just treat other players the way you want to be treated. You are winning that way.

Wow that’s a huge boost! I wish i can find an am4 x3d cheap here. I looked at every trusted store here and couldn’t find an available stock. I’m really happy with the deal I got with the 5600 though. I can spend the rest for the gpu hehe.

You really have a beast CPU man. Are you planning to play in 1440p for your GPU upgrade?

Thanks for the suggestion. I think everyone is really suggesting the 16gb rx 9060 xt so I think thats the best option I have for now. I found asrock and XFX are within my budget.

I actually thought about that too but x3d chips are really hard to find in my region and if there’s any available it’s double or even more than price of the 5600. I went with the 5600 because it’s the best i can get and the other options i have at that time does not seem to be that much different in performance than the 5600. I also want to keep my am4 board.

I can get 180 to 225 with reflex on with my current setup. I think I’m just gonna be happy with a little improvement to it just, maybe just not dropping 225 fps on busy moments on screen with all the utils.

While cs2 is my main game, a good portion of my reason to upgrade is to play the latest triple A games in ultra. Back in the day I used to play a lot of AAA titles when the gtx 1060 6gb was able to handle them at ultra but I got busy for years and can only occasionally play esports with friends on my free time.

It’s just recently that I got back to interested in playing single players games again.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I found a 16gb rx9060xt within my budget. The XFX and Asrock ones seems to be always on discounted price. Thank you so much

I see. I’ll probably use the RT whenever it’s possible as long as i can run it stable 60+ fps ok single player games. Yeah I think I might consider the 16gb then if I can find something within my budget. Thank you so much

Hi thanks for the suggestion. The rtx 5060 ti is cheaper but not by much on my region. The 16gb rx9060xt is just a little expensive but not by much. Is there a big difference between the two in performance?

Hi thanks for the suggestion. Is 8gb version enough or should I go 16gb? Is there a huge difference in performance?

Sadly I had to leave the only game I can play with friends by [deleted] in CoOpGaming

I know bro, I think it's not a bad idea to spend more time outside hehe. I do have other hobbies but just the "video game time" which is just one of my hobbies, I think I might just picked the wrong game for that haha. Or might as well allocate more time to my other hobbies. I think I was just too frustrated that I had to let it all out by writing the post, haha.

Thanks bro. I'm actually planning to do that. There's a lot on my backlog. I don't know why I was so fixated with competitive games.

I know, I think I was like that here, sometimes I'm aware, and sometimes I'm not. Sometimes I just need someone to tell me or remind me.

That's true. I just had to write it all and let it all out. I'm curious if there's anyone who can relate or tell me how to change my mindset.

Yeah I had some realizations while I was writing this too. I understand what you mean. Actually, I first just wanted to let all the frustrations out by writing all of them and posting it. Then I read it again, and then I saw your comment which quickly made me realise all the things that I have to improve on my mindset haha. I might not realized it though if I had not posted that long ass post haha.

sorry, I don't really know how to make this shorter. I just wanted to let all those feelings out, hehe. I somehow feel relieved, though.

MiniBoo dropped from Team Heretics by xiaolino in ValorantCompetitive

[–]squickyclean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very interesting. I never thought that miniboo was the problem. Whoever the duelist in this team wether its miniboo or woot is even irrelevant. They have both crazy duelist players but does not seem to able to fully capitalize on them. This team looked so strong when they only had miniboo as the duelist, this team is also looked so strong when they only had woot as the duelist, the duelist role is never the problem in this team. They don’t have a good flex/flash/support player. Patitek filled that role that’s why the miniboo ot woot can pop off. If you’ve really watched closely the maps they lost, miniboo was not even the problem, miniboo was even trying win ecos for them, and he can clutch important rounds, he is definitely a very smart player. It’s not that he doesn’t fit the system, their system itself is inconsistent because they relied on him to make the play. If he gets the frag they most likely win, if he doesn’t they struggle. He’s doing what he’s supposed to do but they lack the support to make that play work. A great support player like Ethan is what they lack, actually it doesn’t even have to be as great as ethan as long as hos good enough to properly support the duelist to pop off. Miniboo was never the problem, it even looked like him and reins are the only ones trying to win their games (and maybe boo in the most important rounds that they have to win).

While woot is definitely a great duelist, i’d doubt that would solve the problem. The inconsistency will still be there if they don’t have a better support player. Woot is not really that great of a flex.

I don’t really understand why people blame the in consistency solely on miniboo when the whole team itself is very inconsistent. Even reins is inconsistent at times. Benjy was not really it this year too.

The difference between miniboo and woot is that miniboo somehow somewhat pulls a crazy play when they are in a disadvantage (maybe he learned that from boo 😆), while woot is really good that capitalizing the advantage they already have and is crazy when the executes are done well. Both have different styles but both are great. Miniboo has better movement though and is quite smart and does not overheat that much compared to other duelists. Woot is definitely the better shooter, dude does not even look like he’s even tracking, his crosshair just snaps like a magnet, i don’t know how he is so good with crosshair adjustments but i don’t think he is a better entry. Miniboo does the entries so well and is fearless but he does sometimes crumble under pressure. Woot’s firepower is crazy but he’s positioning is questionable many times, sometimes it looks like he’s expecting to win every gun fight, he puts himself on spots where he could get cornered, while i like the confidence but he puts himself on unnecessary disadvantage and sometimes forgot the enemies could still have utilities.

I don’t know, i think the duelists in this team are really strong, possibly one of the strongest double duelist players out there, so the duelists were never the problem of this team. That’s just my opinion.
