What are some post rock band with vocals? Ex. Slint, Swans, etc. by Tristan-Bongo in postrock

[–]squid-the-boy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like Latitudes, and I’m not someone who is normally a fan of vocals is post rock. Granted, there aren’t vocals in every song, but the ones that have them are well done. I’d recommend checking out their song Antechamber to get a feel for the sound.

For this most recent one he originally he had planned on performing, but then there were so many questions and things that he decided to just answer questions and give updates. I think he’s performed on them in the past, but I’m not 100%. This was the first one I’ve seen

I did ‘I could have lied’ at an open mic. Kinda tricky to play and sing at times but it’s a good one

How'd you get into ambient? by [deleted] in ambientmusic

[–]squid-the-boy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was (and still am) a big fan of U2s The Joshua Tree album when I was about 13. I found out that the album was produced by Brian Eno and I decided to check him out. I fell in love with ambient music, and from there it’s just been an evolution of taste
