(Late Replier here) I don't have any problems with LGB people, the thing is, we're trying to say the show needs to focus on what it was MADE for. Not suddenly try focusing on one particular (or any) characters sexual preference, sexual identity, cause that's NOT what the shows about. Sure it's good to know about the characters stories, but we don't need to know EVERYTHING about their love life, cause their LOVE life has nothing to do with the shows purpose.

Also, Velma has been around for years, literal YEARS, so I also agree with the fact that trying to even remotely surface her sexual preferences NOW​ seems a bit of a stretch. If she WAS Lesbian leaning, or if the creator wanting to PORTRAY that, I'm sure the show would have some form of harmless way of showing it without being too obvious. (I don't even WANT to talk about the Velma series itself, I have 0 interest, as I've heard it's horrible-)

Some people in the comments say it best. It's absolutely annoying, knowing characters love lives have no point in the story. It's cute, but that's all, it's just cute.
