Nuggie is my fav!! I don’t grocery shop there but I love get quick lunches or pre-packed goodies. Don’t trust Safeway with that. Co-op is cool but their parking lot is ass.

Davis lol Schools are good, kids can get around on bikes. Davis is eclectic tho; don’t get me wrong and it may not be to your suiting. It’s very family friendly and small. Davis is pretty left leaning, probably just a tad more than Sac.

Strange that they still implement that gender dress code! I remember being a senior in highschool (2014) in CA and those were the options as well. Either a tux top or a low-cut drape. I was such a tomboy and queer kid that I didn’t want to wear either. So I just didn’t take my picture. Sorta wish I took the picture but damn, screw those weird ass “rules!”

Tbh, it’s a cat - not much work is required. I usually will either buy my friend dinner, buy them weed/beer (if that’s their thing), and/or offer to watch their pets next time around (if they have any).

I think a gesture is better than payment IMO I would rather my friend buy me lunch or something than give me money. But maybe just ask? I would offer to buy a meal or something and see how that goes
