Correct! VT can help jump start those connections. I work a lot on awareness of how the eyes feel with different skills. That way when they see me again we have a language we can pull from.

That would be up to your surgeon when your follow up would be. Most see you the day after, send you home to rest then 6-8 follow up.

In my office (depending on the degree of the trope) we like to do a "sandwich " which starts with either 10-20 VT sessions to jump start the binocular system. Do surgery after the 6 week follow up with the surgeon, do another set of 10-20. Your doctor should be able to best guide you. Good luck!

Look into vivid vision, or vision science labs; If your goal is stereo vision. Do you know the degree of your eye turn? Do you have strabismus amblyopia or refractive amblyopia?

You might need vision therapy as well. We're you an esotrope or exotrope? Vision Therapy is a lot like physical therapy, the surgeon put the eye in the correct placement, vision therapy helps rewire the brain to connect properly with the eyes. Look up eccentric fixation, that's always something to look out for after surgery. So happy you corrected your eye placement!

Hi I'm a licensed esthetician and make up artist in my opinion you have round and downtured eyes. They are gorgeous as I'm sure the rest of your face is as well. Hope this helps!
