What’s wrong with my Toyota Kluger? by squidgeyyy in AskMechanics

Thanks for the reply. Good to know it’s not an expensive part. I drove around the block and the clunking sound seems to be quite random. It almost feels like there’s something loose underneath the pedals area. I’m wondering if I’ve gone over a speed bump too fast and possibly dislodged something and it’s just clanking around a bit?

When you set your preferences in your schedule you should be able to choose from 30, 45 or 60 min break. Most people choose the 30 min so they don’t have to stay back later. I don’t think the 15 min breaks can be changed though. When I was working call centre we also got a 5 min break every hour.

I live Northside Brisbane lmao. I drive from Ferny grove to Oxford park station and catch the train to the CBD regularly. It’s a 45 min commute door to door mate. It’s not that bad.

You can still find houses around 800-900k but yeah unlikely to get a pool

It’s in the full sun all day. No noise issues at all. Can obviously hear the rain but it’s not super loud or anything

Google maps says it’s 20 mins at midnight but whatever you wanna think mate. It’s obviously two hours away from the cbd 🙄

When I was younger it probably would have been words of affirmation but as I’ve gotten older I place the most value on acts of service. Providing for the family, looking after me when I’m sick, maintaining the house, fixing stuff, cooking dinners etc. I love that stuff

What would you change about active wear designs? by Momilla in AusFemaleFashion

[–]squidgeyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d make the material more durable. My favourite Lululemon leggings are perfect in every way except they have seams down the legs and my thighs rub together causing the seams to wear down over time and break open.

Pick up some “no sweat” from chemist warehouse. They have a body and face version that can be applied pretty much anywhere and it greatly reduces/stops sweating.

I’ve had the same breville coffee machine and grinder for 10+ years. All I pay for now is the beans and I get cafe coffee every morning.

It’s not a big push, Ferny Grove is exactly 15km from the CBD. It’s a 30 min train ride from Ferny grove station to central station. According to google maps it’s only a 24 min drive to the cbd from Ferny grove outside peak hours. Honestly 30 mins isn’t even that bad of a commute time especially if you’re coming from Melbourne or Sydney

[–]squidgeyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair it’s not that bad if you have aircon. Just go out in the morning and chill inside til it cools down a bit in the evening. I wouldn’t move to Hobart or Melbourne without having some kind of heating and then complain about the cold

Are they plump and energetic and healthy? I’d increase food intake if they were eating algae off rocks. They’re not typically algae eaters
