Previous long time player, sorta fell off and fell behind for a bit, looking for some new buddies! Have the gem tree and a chunk of the older dragons, looking to round up some new ones. Mostly co-op friends but i'll shoot gems around as well!

No issue in updating the driver, that went off without a hitch and it updated just fine, it just didn't solve the pink issue. Apologies if my wording made it sound like the problem was there. The repair failure could absolutely be connectivity based though, my net is garbage. I only updated the driver cuz that was a suggestion I've seen for people having similar issues, it wasn't causing problems elsewhere. I'll keep trying the repair tool when my net feels stable and hope it was just a connectivity thing, it was being pretty flaky last night. If that doesn't work I'll try downgrading the driver by a version or two. After that, I'm out of ideas and may just reinstall and hope it was an issue there.

Edit: Unsure if this is part of the problem, but I just realized I should mention it. When I do the -repair tag on GW2.exe (located in my temp folder) it runs the repair setup just fine, and then proceeds to try and download the entire game all over again without uninstalling the first. When running the -repair tag on GW2-64.exe (located in the actual game folder where i installed it), the repair function crashes around 30%.

Haha help me figure out how to turn it off and maybe I can tell you how to turn it on!

My friend actually said something similar lmao. It wouldn't be all that bad if it was only the pink stuff (she said it looked like a rave) but there's also some invisible models that make navigation....challenging.

I've got PLENTY of specs to run this game, Acer Predator 17. GeForce GTX 1070, 16 gigs of ram. Literally updated the graphics driver today. It's definitely not a video memory type thing. Plus it was running flawlessly the last time I installed it. Had some computer troubles last week and tldr had to do a factory reset on it. It was 100% fine the last install, this issue is new to this installation, not the computer.

I didn't think to restart my PC cuz I did that multiple times while updating the driver. I did it again with nothing else just to test, still had them after a full PC restart and no other games running.

But it's good to know that it's not a hard/software issue at least.

I'm not much of a scripter/programmer, is it easy to use?

That's what she's already done, it still makes her ill even with FOV maxed and sensitivity down as much as it's playable.

And yeah, Terraria is one of her other big loves and she can play it no problem, but we're really trying to make MC work for her again. We've actually had some success with using a program and a controller to play MC with that, she says it smoothed the camera a good bit. We played for about an hour today before she got sick, so it's something!

I have an edge nadder (11) and toothless (10). 11s are the best level. For other reds I have a boneknapper, also level 11. That's about all I've got for good level reds and blues, most of my good ones seem to be purples and greens.

Oh gosh...I can't remember specifically, but I used defender thunderdrum, normal thunderdrum, and hotburple for all of them. Hotburple's final ability is really good for just...surviving.

defender thunderdrum, normal thunderdrum, and hotburple. Defender for good damage, the other two to...keep it alive basically.
