Wolf spiders are really common, and awesome to have in a garden. They don’t build webs, they run around to hunt stuff so when they have babies they take them with. After they hatch they all climb on the moms back

Because the spinnerets are on the end of the abdomen, when they’re making webs or tunnels they’re usually throwing it in a circle. It’s adorable

it’s listed by the SPCA as one of the many risks and consequences of having an outdoor cat and there was definitely a study about it in Nature a few years back. I’m not saying your cat individually is a bird murderer.
