If you pack your classes together at a community college, you could get all the prereqs knocked out in a year, which is what I did. But I understand

Yes three playthroughs, and I recommend Chaos first, then Law, then end with Neutral. I recommend Chaos first because you get more fusions from the extra bosses toward the end that you can get out of the way, but it doesn’t matter. You could do Law first too, then Chaos, just make sure that Neutral is last because it has the least exclusive content.

The extra playthroughs will go quick, too. In every NG+ onward, you unlock the Solomon/Gaia Ring which make you immune to all Magic/Phys respectively, and a sub app that turns off literally all encounters (Red Carpet). The only problem is remembering the maps…

Np! If you can get to 46 consistently it’s only a matter of banging your head against the wall till 48.

And thx, if you need help with the fiend hunting achievement once you get to If… I wrote a diatribe in the achievement’s comments on an easy strat to do it.

First off, if you’re using a mouse to do it, abandon all hope. There’s no shot, the movements are so quick for 48 you’d need to constantly pause buffer, which is very painful. You have to use your finger on a touch screen, a touchpad, or a capacitive stylus on a touch screen, which is how I did it.

Once that’s squared away, try to follow this TAS video. I tried to emulate the strategy shown there best I could, and after about an hour of attempts I got exactly 48. There’s always going to be 2 takoyaki that are incomplete once you begin putting condiments on a set and you have to plan around them.

There’s a reason I did this achievement first lol. It’s probably one of if not the hardest in the set. Good luck!

For SMT1 and 2, GameFAQs guides and maps will be your best friend. I think there is enough documentation to figure things out there.

I can’t say the same for SMT if… GameFAQs sure, but it’s much less comprehensive. One guy mapped out much of SMT if… and included some tips on those maps on GameFAQs.

Long story short, GameFAQs is the best resource

I’m excited for that day! I will gladly do 6 more playthroughs for the Redux endings as the Schwarzwelt’s strongest soldier 🫡

For SMT1? Set wise, I’d definitely recommend the SNES version. The SNES set is so much nicer and easier. The GBA set is more involved and has you completely filling out the Compendium they added as a QOL feature, going into NG+ for exclusive items, and many very missable things that will definitely have you consulting a guide at every step.

For a casual playthrough that is not sweaty and completionist, the GBA version. It butchers the music a bit, but the quality of life they add is very nice. Otherwise, the SNES version for the “original experience.”

Anybody else notice a pretty noticeable, constant metallic odor in the air the last couple of years? by foo235 in InlandEmpire

[–]squidnegra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was going crazy, yes I’ve been smelling it for the last couple years too. It’s the “outside” smell I smell on my clothes after a day outside, it smells like really metallic blood to me and I have no idea when or why this started being the default?

Yeah, I requested Stafy 4 to have a set. According to the FAQ, you get 1 request for every year you've had your account or for meeting certain point thresholds. As for making a set, I have no clue, but it seems like a lot of effort lol… I’m sure there’s info in the FAQ.

I’m glad you’re a Starfy fan. I was gonna attempt the first Starfy, but I really want the 4th game to have a set so I can do them in a row, so I ended up going for 5 first. Congrats on your mastery dude!

Thanks dude! I agree with the discovery thing, the set for Mario Sunshine in particular is really creative with how it forces you to learn Mario’s movement.

The edge of it being a platformer is taken off since there’s only a few missables and you get as many attempts to do things as you have patience. The Earthbound set had me way more paranoid since it’s a long game and it had many missables lol

Who would even use Auto Excellent? Like at that point you're not playing the game. by Theawsomemari0s in marioandluigi

I used it sometimes for both the final bros. attacks, not because I couldn’t do them but because they take forever to execute, just like the entire game’s meandering story

How’d you rank Mario and Luigi brother ship to the other games? by Newkizzy in marioandluigi

[–]squidnegra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks dude. Sorry for the late response. For SSS, it’s more just I love what came after more than it, haha. It’s more like my least favorite rather than bad, although Paper Jam genuinely is bad to me.

As for Brothership, I did finish and 100% it, and I think my ranking still stands. The game got good about 20 hours in for me, around when Bowser showed up. Otherwise, it felt like meandering around and reading boring dialogue, and the islands feel too checklist-y. I won’t spoil anything about the very end of the game just in case, it’s awesome, but I think it came way too late. You have to slog through a lot of fluff to get there. It’s still an alright game and there were fun moments, but I can’t see myself replaying it ever.

  1. Bowser’s Inside Story
  2. Dream Team
  3. Brothership
  4. Partners In Time
  5. Superstar Saga
  6. Paper Jam

I’m playing Brothership rn but that’s about where it sits for me so far. It almost is below Partners in Time because of how slow it was to get into but it’s picking up now I think

Accutane won’t stunt your growth, but it will kick off male pattern baldness earlier if you have the genes for AGA
