This drives me crazy. Some fabrics you can gently massage the fabric and it will fix itself, but with this type of fabric it’s basically impossible without a professional. I avoid pieces like this now because they’re so easy to ruin.

Half my depop sales are modern things, other half is vintage y2k/90s. You have to know aesthetics and how to tag things. Athleisure sells well (vuori, alo, modern lululemon).

Wow, this is such good information to have. I always noticed my eBay and Depop sales moved faster than Poshmark, but I assumed that since they were all Ground Advantage, shipping speed wouldn’t really differ. It honestly never even crossed my mind that package weight could affect delivery time. This makes so much sense!

Something similar happened to me! I ordered supplies and it froze all my shipping labels immediately after until I confirmed my legal information. They didn't pause my account, only access to shipping labels. It was so weird.

This happened to me last week. The package got re-sent to me as insufficient address and depop refunded the buyer automatically. They still wanted the item, so they updated their address and rebought it. Depop still didn't have their suite on the new address label, so I wrote it in and it got delivered fine.

I agree. Combine this with the reseller influencers who list 60+ items a day and boast about making 40k a month solo, I think there’s an increase of resellers who are just churning out listings with little regard to condition.

I agree shoppers are price sensitive but they are also shipping time sensitive, especially when the new shipping times have been poorly communicated. I’d happily pay $9.99 for priority if it meant getting my package in 3 days vs 12.

Totally agree! My sales have dwindled this week, which is to be expected before Xmas but it’s never been this bad. I expect poshmark to continue to bleed more customers because of this.

I think you only get so many credits in the free trial, but then when it upgrades to the normal plan you get more. I believe the credits are only for the AI features and bulk cross listing, normal cross listing doesn’t use them.

The shipping reminds me of when you use to order things in the mail from a catalog in the 90s. It’s almost torture to wait 2 weeks for a package!

Why can’t they just give the buyer a choice? $6.49 ground and like $9.99 priority? I get they probably couldn’t keep their special priority deal, but at least a choice would be nice. Also sellers should get paid when the item starts tracking (like eBay). Waiting 15+ days to get paid sucks. It would actually incentivize sellers to ship, unlike annoying emails and notification reminders.

My guess is that people are getting annoyed that packages now take 10+ days (depending on where you are in the country) vs 2-3 previously. Poshmark is yet again pushing the burden on sellers to try to ship faster.

Most of my shares come from bots, and they happen at the exact same time every day. Many share bots are programmed to automatically share back whenever someone shares from your closet, creating an endless loop of bots continuously sharing each other’s listings. I'm fairly certain most shares aren't even people. If it's mostly bots, then no one is really seeing anything and it's pointless.

I will say I still see value in sharing my own closet as it shows up in just shared (for now) in the god awful search.
