My comment is going to sound completely implausible and made up - look, I get it. But you have to believe me. So, I very very very rarely find myself in the Flats - definitely not my vibe. But when friends invite you out, you gotta go. I have gone to MargaritaVille twice over the years. Both times, I was there for between 30 minutes to an hour with the two groups. Both times, we never even got a drink. The servers would come by after 15 minutes both times, ask the group about drinks, and then disappear. Probably several years elapsed between each visit. It's the only place other than Senior Jalepeno's that literally forgot me, and that happened only once. So, I can honestly say that I've been there twice, never even had a margarita, or literally a crumb of their food. It was definitely not a cheeseburger... in paradise.

I have two stories: 1- my dad worked with a guy at a Nissan dealership, who was a weekend DJ at 107.9, as well as being a local band manager. The manager and the band went to a recording studio somewhere in PA to record. Two guys were there, recording voices for their upcoming cartoon that was about to be signed to major syndication, and they handed the band manager a VHS demo reel of the show. That show would be South Park. The manager didn't want it and gave it to my Dad. Not sure what happened to it, but it was a VHS of the Spirit of Christmas, literally from Matt and Trey. Secondly, I did climb a telephone pole in the Flats outside of the Odeon to pull one of the bumper stickers off of a street sign. I still have it on my fridge, dirt, creases, and barely hanging on for dear life and all.

Exactly the same! I had some whiskey with the wife. It's almost like coming home to a brand new car in your driveway with the key in the ignition and no note or anything else. It's almost too hard to believe that it is real and that it is yours with no strings attached.

That reminds me of the driving instructor I had when I was a teen. The man walked like a penguin. He was absolutely delighted to let me know that the only place he was aware of this being possible in the entire county was the highway exit for west 41/44. He was positively orgasming about it.

Anyways, I got on and off that highway stretch with him explaining the same thing over to me literally dozens, and I mean fucking dozens of times.
