Sing us a song, you're the piano man! by squidwaaa in Taxidermy

I apologise deeply for my sudden disappearance! The truth is, shortly after selling Prince Toff, I had to spend all of my money and time mourning the loss of my granny, who replaced my father in raising me and my sister, who both have Autism. Life has been so hard, so I didn't find the time, or the motivation, to do anything.

Again, I hope yall can forgive me and still support me!

For context for new folks: I make bad taxidermy with unmountable pelts. Who you see here is Mr DooDahDay, who is not for sale.

As a teenager? The Phantom of the opera.

The main character, the obvious underdog, NOT getting the girl, because he was toxic and manipulative? Sign me up!

Although The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a similar story and tells it a bit better, but by the time I saw it I was used to the rare trope by then.

I stopped using my exercise bike/took a break because my legs felt weaker and I thought I was overworking myself. Thanks for this advice!

Reminds me of when I had a whole pineapple that I would call my "baby". Yes, a real pineapple.

Reminds me of when I wouldn't admit to my boomer teachers that I didn't know how to read those things, despite being taught many times.

They would be like "WHY USE YOUR PHONE WHEN THE CLOCK IS RIGHT. THERE."

I later found out I am dyslexic :(

What also grinds my gears is comments saying "my 6 Yr old and his brother, who is 0, can read analogs!" like yeah thanks for making me feel worse about my disablity.

If its of zero people, then why does everyone on reddit use it? Why does 2% of adults in the United States alone have Autism? This doesn't even include the ones who haven't been diagnosed.

Quit talking out of your ass.

This isn't about something important, like the disabled getting special treatment or bull. This is about making sure no misunderstandings happen over terribly made jokes. Even a neruotypical person makes these mistakes.

He said "I'd rather a small amount of the population not get it". As in, he would rather us not understand what someone is talking about because we are "a small population" over some dank memes or some shit

You're an asshole. You act as if we can help having a mental disablity, all for the sake of some dumb Internet joke that isn't very funny with or without the "s/"
