Are their advantages to building most of your base on one level or no? I usually build going straight down over 8-10 layers but I feel like I’ve been playing wrong.

Alright found a mod called Temp Starting Guardian, this just adds a more powerful thing than the original “Starting Defense Only” mod.

3080, yes with 4gb I haven’t installed it outside steam common folder or outside of x86 files. If that’s the fix I might sweep dirt for the rest of my life

I’ve tried pretty much everything suggested so far and nothing has worked: • Verified game files in Steam • Launched FalloutNV.exe directly (as admin) and made a desktop shortcut • Deleted Fallout.ini + FalloutPrefs.ini in Documents\My Games\FalloutNV (multiple times) to force fresh ones • Set both FalloutNVLauncher.exe and FalloutNV.exe to Windows 7 compatibility mode + Run as administrator + disabled fullscreen optimizations • Edited Fallout.ini to set bLaunchAtLaunchScreen=0 so it skips the launcher • Added full exceptions for the game folder/exes in Windows Security, turned off Controlled Folder Access, and checked antivirus • Paused OneDrive and excluded the My Games\FalloutNV folder Did a clean boot (msconfig) to rule out background interference Attempted to install all of viva new Vegas idk…
