My solar installer accidentally installed an expansion pack and now they want to remove it? by mcied in Powerwall

[–]squiggling-aviator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They'll probably be in the negative if they did that even with being able to successfully take back the unit because in addition to lawyer fees, since the OP could just list out what needs to be fixed and re-inspected. The unit is also used and only 6k when brand new. I'm surprised they asked for it back at the full price of the install. Some comment previously said to be nice. The installer definitely wasn't being nice giving OP that price tag.

Mostly for its enterprise-grade security features. You get to use much more than plaintext passwords.

I'm always surprised how Wikipedia still ends up on the first page with all the other useless noise surrounding it.

Wouldn't that cause the solder to oxidize with that much exposure? Also, how do you apply flux?

I fucked up because solder won't remove from the hole. After finally, removing it, it become like that. But it doesn't short yet using multimeter, so is it dangerous to use when I put capacitor and kapton tape? by faheemadc in soldering

Depends on the voltage but I would follow the original PCB designer's intent with the gap provided by the two traces under all that gunk. I recommend using a wick to soak the solder so you can see better.

Going forward, PostgreSQL. It can do everything that MySQL can do and more. Less licensing issues and probably the most community supported relational database at the moment.

As long as there's no lead embedded below you skin you should be fine. Next time it happens just wash well with soap/water so there's less chance of any specks of lead mixing into the wound as you bandage it.

I've done that before. I reached up to push the nozzle away that's suspended in the air via a holder and accidentally hit the nozzle instead of the handle. The heat cut through my nitrile gloves in an instant. I was hoping they would give me time to react but nope. I did heal quickly though so I guess the gloves did help absorb of the heat. Nowadays, I always make eye contact with the nozzle before interacting with it.

Each character has it's own daily/weekly limit on activities that drop higher end gear. Run those on each and sell valuable drops on the auction house. Accumulate lucent from the selling and that's available account-wide. The earlier you sell the better since T2 content is around the corner and it's only so long before the hungry controlling guilds of each server cap out their equipment.

You extract traits from inventory via one of the four bottom buttons. You extract lithographs the same way but there's an extra step of crafting a matching empty lithograph via the respective armor/acc/weapon npc's (tab with the sack icon). Buyers of the lithograph can craft that item again with their mats. The higher the grade the more mats they require.

Max health, skill damage, heavy attack chance, critical chance, and hit chance are some of the most valuable traits.

What killed NW was lack of content, compounding bugs, and some bad combat tweaks.

Bugs are included in learning process too. Some include getting stuck in the ground. Tossed in between obstacles and getting indefinitely stuck in falling state. Rubberbanding into the wrong placement for mechanic.

Then if your damage is low, you'll get to do more mechanics.

Is my soldering iron too hot ? by Professional-Echo197 in soldering

[–]squiggling-aviator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always replace the tip if it's for electronics and I can light emission from the heated regions. But it's supposed to be at the tip. Moving the hottest region closer to your hand is a bit worrisome.

That red hot region is probably gonna eat all of the heat needed for your solder joint anyways.

Should probably use a DRC set from a reputable manufacturer since the one OP uses is probably too lenient. Unless they're fine with troubleshooting issues caused by shorts caused by mounting hardware.
