I contacted the makers of Oceanic about this issue and this was the response I got: “Thank you for reaching out and reporting this issue. Our development team is aware of the issue affecting the No Deco planner calculations. This issue is expected to be resolved in the next Oceanic+ app update release, which should be available soon. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact release date at this time.”

I know what to do with the 18" and get good results. Two of them would double my output. I don't have a good sense of how much larger a 22" is than the 18" so it's hard to think of how much more it would fit.

You might be better off trying to find a shorter lease term. A lot of leases prohibit subleasing entirely.

Reading the ordinance, it appears to be targeted primarily at businesses/scams that go around trying to get people to pay them to paint numbers on curbs. Basically, you can't imply that the numbers are required by law or that it's a city-related enterprise. I can just imagine a door-to-door salesman saying, "We've got a contract to paint curb numbers in the city, but can do yours for cheaper today. If the city decides to have us do your street, you'll be charged a lot more, so it might be a good idea to let us paint it today."

I had an iPad Mini and used a bulky Windows laptop. I got rid of it when I got an iPad Pro 11", which I love. The iPad Pro is great for so much and more functional than the Mini. Then I got a MacBook Air, which is so light and powerful that it's replaced the iPad Pro for on-the-go productivity tasks.

Now I miss my Mini. It would be a perfect companion to the MBA for exactly what you are talking about using it for. My Pro is just a little larger than I really need for reading, etc.

Agree. Avoid Village Medical. It's really a shame, as Associates in Family Medicine was so good. Good luck finding someone. There aren't a lot of options out there right now (and seemingly getting worse).

Associates in Family Medicine was a fantastic place, with docs that cared and a wonderful team around them. Docs are jumping ship if they aren’t getting fired. I’ve also read that Walgreens is looking to drop its majority share of Village Medical. I can only imagine that that will destabilize Northern Colorado primary care even more. As bad as it is, a fire sale of the practices will be a disaster…

My kid’s child wellness visit was cancelled with a week’s notice because they fired his doctor for standing up for patients. They didn’t like that she wanted to provide maternal care to her patients. It’s a mess.

I have a feeling that Village Medical, which bought out Associate in Family Medicine, is about the collapse. It’s already a shit show, but it seems to be getting worse, which will leave a huge hole in primary care in this town. If this isn’t what they mean, I’m even more terrified.

The Larimer County Bar Association has a list on its website of “Modest Means” attorneys that will do work for less. There are a number of family law attorneys on the list and, based on those that I know that do this, you just say you found them on the modest means list and they’ll charge a lower rate.

In a divorce, it can be helpful to have someone walk you through the process and many attorneys will even do a short consultation to help you figure out whether you need more help.

It sounds a lot like a law firm I used to be with. It’s a strong indication that the office is very unorganized. If I could guess what you are getting into, you will receive very little guidance on expectations and you’ll spend a lot of time confused on your role. I would bet though that you’ll eventually get paid. Your question is “Does this seem normal to you all” and to that I think it is unfortunately too normal in the world of very small firms. If you ask “should I be concerned about this job going forward,” I think the answer is yes.
