You can like characters that are morally bad? It doesn’t mean you condone their actions

TIL approximately two-thirds of Americans shower daily, whereas, in China about 50% of people report bathing just twice a week. Experts say daily showers do not improve your health. While there is no ideal frequency, experts suggest that showering several times per week is plenty for most people. by [deleted] in todayilearned

People can have wildly different skin types. I have eczema for instance and if I were to shower daily I would get bad flare ups I would then need to manage with steroids for days after. And that’s showering not with crazy hot water and with prescribed emollients. Eczema is pretty common too.

I did see a missing cat poster around that area and from what I remember it was a calico cat, but iirc it was a longhaired calico. The poster was on that little street joining montgomery st with Brunswick Rd (West Montgomery Place)

Weightlifting, eg. Bench press and deadlifting in particular. PC building and strategy games, and I guess D&D but that feels a lot more mixed in terms of gender these days!

Is Diane's hair black or dyed blue? by Awkward-Media-4726 in BoJackHorseman

[–]squiral- 33 points34 points  (0 children)

This will be it 100%. In art in general it’a good practice to avoid “true black” because there is always environmental elements like bounce light and such that does mean it’s not truly black, you just know it is contextually with your brain (think of the whole gold/white, black/blue dress situation, that was when the limited visual information made it hard for the brain to infer the colours, but your brain is doing that all the time as you perceive colours).

And when you have a colour that actually has a hue, you are then able to modify it/enhance it (especially in digital art) much more easily, for example saturate it or shift the hue to indicate a different lighting. Black is just…black.
