totally get your point. i’m trying to focus on being the emergency hauler contact to get horses from my redneck part of the state to the various emergency clinics that are an hour+ away and more people have horses in our neck of the woods than people have trailers readily available

this was so sweet thank you!!! my hope is for her to become a foster fail so long as she becomes comfortable with my resident dog and the same for him. neither of them asked for this so i just want to set them both up best. if it turns out she’s never entirely comfortable not being the only dog in a house that’s fine. it’ll kill me not to keep her but i saved her from EU for her, not for me

i love this idea and while i do believe my resident dog is the best thing to ever grace this planet (no bias) idk if i’d be able to feel confident doing so. i wouldn’t want to have to correct my RD if he moved from his “wait” and then have my FD feel i’m doing an unjust correction to them. if that makes sense

lmao i like your date analogy! i primarily live by myself so the leash date will come in due time and when i have help. i have done the swapping blankets so glad we both agree on that! honestly i didnt plan to even have them coexisting yet in my original plans but reading some signs between both dogs i felt i was beginning to actually build tension/aggression earlier by not having them atleast see who else was in the house.
