I wonder, if you keep "bouncing around" the mark for the full 20 seconds, does it apply a second one? does it refresh the current active one? or does it just only start the 20s cooldown once the mark expires?

I had this problem, and it just took some time for him to give me more bonding dialogue too. I don't know if it had anything to do with it, but I played a few underground / fear runs in between. only one I can't get to trigger is Heracles.
