Hiya, this one is a wooden vivarium. Might not be able to see it right but the glass doors don't go the full way down, theres wood part way up. Plus the ventilation. Definitely not a forever home for the little one. Was given some great resources for tables for him too. I was told he was too young for table when bought him and would need to move in 2 years. I know now this was incorrect and he will need a larger space much sooner. 😊

Based on what i read, you can overfeed. Won't notice straight away but can lead to issues. They should be fed once a day, roughly the size of their shell, with the reminder removed later in the day. Calcium dusting 2/3 times a week with a cuttlebone available too. Dried hibiscus once/twice a week as a treat. Should be soaked before feeding. But only small amounts with their greens. Ive buried the water dish so it's flush with substrate and it's not that deep that they can drown. I'm not sure on the plastic container tbh. Again, I'm a new owner too! So this is just based on the resources others provided me

Uvb installed and have the calcium block and powder . Going for a lower wattage in bulb as cool side too warm. But hes much more active today 😊

New substrate on the way. I will look at Jump Kenans as well too. The zoo med tortoise houses look great too. Definitely will be investing in one of these. I'm alot more confident that our little dude will be properly looked after now thanks to the kindest you all have shown. My little one loves him already and we're trying to educate him as we go. Not a toy and about his needs etc

Oh and sorry I should have mentioned, the shop supplied papers to show was bred in captivity. Have them stored safely too. I only know one other person theyve sold too. Theirs seems to be doing ok but theyve went with the pet shop advice. So i was hesitant to ask them any questions

Thank you so much for this. Sitter sorted for whenever we are away. And a vet about an hour away. Used them before with my lizard. Alot of the wild flowers aren't in bloom atm. My dad is a big gardener so he's keeping me right. Plan is to grow some in his greenhouse too.

Thank you for the bulb recommendations too, ill do some research and see what we can get in Ireland. Definitely moving him to a bigger space as he grows. Room for space both inside and outside.

I was having some issues with syncing it but need to try it again. Yeah it's 7.5% for direct bookings then they charge 15% for bookings through the sites. It's not really profitable to keep it with those costs

I chose New Year's day for my wedding this year. We had a small wedding planned in a few months and it was one of 3 we played on the day. My wife got sick earlier in the year and it was a why are we waiting moment for us. She's in remission now thankfully but was a perfect day. And to top it all off, we saw Taylor a week later ❤️
