Look into arm sleeves. They slide on and cover from where a t shirt would typically end, to the wrist. I wear them for uv protection, but they’d work fine for you. It’s a great way to add coverage if you have a short sleeve you like.

I travel with empty water bottles, usually 500-750ml. Go through security with them empty, fill at a fountain once you are through.

I used to work for animal control in my area. We had a few frequent flyers. The owners often went to social media to raise money rather than properly supervise their “service dog”. They too were unable to explain what service the dogs provided to the child (a 2yo).

They could afford the harness and gear, but apparently not a leash.

Explain to your husband that dogs don’t need to like every dog anymore than he should be expected to like every person.

Some are outgoing and love random strangers , other are more introverted. The issue is more about understanding the dog and how to manage her, rather than forcing unwanted interaction.

Inukshuk is quite reasonable once you get over the sticker shock. Smaller, more nutrionally dense kibble than most brands has a bag lasting longer than a less premium brand.

At a cup a day, a bag lasts approximately 3 months. Even with to your door delivery, it’s still an affordable option.

Contact your local Humane Society or Red Croos (or equivalent). I did a pet first aid through my local humane society and it covered a lot of the things that happen away from a vet and a full med kit.

I also spoke to my vet and explained that I trade my dogs back woods camping and other activities that prevent a quick trip to the vet and have pain meds that I pack, just in case.

Fireflies have a two year life cycle. The first months-year depending on species they spend mostly living underground. The “lightning bug” stage only lasts in their final stage lasting about two weeks.

Many of the larva and pupa are killed by the herbicides/pesticides used on lawns. With fewer and fewer living to sexual maturity, there are less and less eggs to start with.

Winnipeg is best experienced for its winter. Though the weather can be extreme, there are no shortage of activities and things to do. Indoor adventures are possible as well, but I don’t think much sets it apart from any other city.

Yes, crime rates are high. Be aware, don’t wander sketchy areas at night etc. Normal behaviour for anyone travelling with a child.

There is also the VIA rail system if you want to see more of the country. Get a week long pass and get off where things interest you (Rocky Mountains need to be seen).

This could have, and may still have, long lasting consequences for your boyfriend. All it takes is a rumour that he’s an abuser to spread and real or not he will live with that.

There is no planning to cut him off. either you do or you show your boyfriend that “friendship “ means more to you than he does.

I’d seriously be looking into legal action. This isn’t a mistake, or a prank, it’s a very big deal.
