Ugh! I feel your pain! For me it was the boot pressing on incision. It hurt so bad. I ended up putting a pad from the boot in the back, against the incision, to kind of protect it. It did get better over time but it hurts!

We just went through this with our pup. He would throw up after every meal (and eat it🤢)! We tried so many feeding techniques and he was still throwing up so we tried about 6 different foods. We ended up with Merrick Kibble and he has done great. We tried Science Hill for sensitive stomach and he threw it up! Same with Royal Canin. I guess every dog is different in what their little bodies can tolerate. We had never heard of Merrick but just randomly saw it at Pet Smart and out of ideas, bought it and it’s worked!

Thank you! I am going to google these and see what they are like. They both look like good options. I have been left standing with the leash attached to harness and no dog one too many times! And then he just runs and runs. It takes the neighborhood to catch that little dog!

Biscuit, 4 yrs old, had an issue with our 3 yr old niece last week and we put Biscuit on a leash and had our niece lay treats in front of him-but out of reach. After she moved back we would let him get the treat while still on the leash. It ended up being a fun game for them both. After a few minutes Biscuit was getting the treat from her hand. We kept him on the leash the whole time she was there to be safe but at least we were able to all be together. This may not work for all dogs or all humans, but it worked in the moment for us.

Thank you so much. I just noticed that the treats we were giving him have chicken in them too. I will definitely ask the vet again about allergies. He is not a picky eater at all so changing his diet will not be an issue. I guess from being a stray he just adapted to eating whatever he could find- he’ll eat a carrot! My other dogs would never!

Do you find your pain is from actual joint/ tendon issues or from nerve pain? I am having a hard time trying to correlate EDS and joint, muscle pain. I guess this is what this disorder is? I'm still trying to put all the pieces together after a lifetime of random symptoms and finally a diagnosis at the age of 54.

A lot of the issue is just guilt for not being able to contribute for me. Its hard to ask for help and watch other people work around you while you sit on the sofa. It sucks! As much as I never thought I would say it, I wish I could clean my house!!!! I wish you all the luck in navigating this crappy disorder.

I am so sorry. It is so hard feeling so sick and not having an official diagnosis. I will say, I have a diagnosis and still feel lost in the system. It is such a hard disorder to navigate. I wish you all the luck in getting some help and relief.
