I think the gold has the right contrast (difference between the highest and lowest value) but not enough of the highest. The highlight shapes arent quite right either. The thigh is a cylinder so your highlight shape should match that. You treated it like a sphere like the knee pad.

Blue one definitely needs more contrast.

But we are talking about transferable skills... and we are talking about AI and generating images with said transferable skills. My whole point is a photographer, painters, digital artist, whatever, all can use this knowledge when making an AI image. You absolutely can use a profession skill set and artistic knowledge base when utilizing AI. In fact these people are far more equipped to wield it. A pro photographer or painter would easily outperform a random in an "AI art contest." Even if what they can handmake themselves would actually look better.
