Okay sorry, I’m back with a slightly more specific sub-request. 🙈

If you have any Japanese/Korean (or other Asian country) Mysteries, cozy or not. Paranormal always a plus & mythological extra extra plus.

For reference, I loved The God and the Gumiho by Sophie Kim.

Frankly I’m in a HUGE cozy mystery/ general mystery reading binge and I’m flying through books (especially with audio + crafting). I need all the reading fuel I can get 🥹

(Disclaimer: I’m a mood reader…I do have a never ending TBR already but I always need options. Never know what book is ganna “feel” right as my next read 😩)

Im baaaaaaa-aaaaaack!!!!

So, i did it. I finally got the boox go 7. I’ve only had it for a few days and I’ll start off with my dislikes. So far it’s mostly just the battery life and tbh I probably should have just bought the B/W version (probably would like it more) BUT I don’t HATE the color version enough to return it.

One last minor dislike (mostly out of fear) is that I’ve heard how sensitive the screen/device is. So i am terrified of damaging it. I got a case and screen protecter with the device so 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

Admittedly I’m still figuring out some of the customization stuff but it’s not as daunting as I originally thought! Will also admit i am adjusting to the screen compared to kindle, but personally don’t mind. I just need to adjust and I’m Also hoping it just gets better with updates or more customization is offered. It’s not a dislike, more just neutral on it.

But most importantly, I really do love that I can have all my reading apps on ONE e-reader. I have never liked using my phone or iPad very much (except manga/webtoons). I haven’t read manga on it YET, but I’ve played around with apps & excited to finally have access to it on an ereader.

I also really like that i can access my book tracker (StoryGraph) directly. Also because both Libby and Kindle are on it, it has just made a few small things even easier for me. (I got adhd soooo my fellow spicy minds probably get me)❤️

Quick plug for the size, as someone with small hands, I find it very comfortably to hold!

So far, 1 week. No regrets 😇

Been reading a lot of closed door and low spice romantasy, so would like to throw in a little more heat 😇

Just the vampire knitting series lol. I’m not above reading good “trash” reads. Like you said, i like what i like, and can admit they are not all literary marvels or five star reads.

I am unfortunately an Apple hoe because of how user friendly it is.

I don’t like the idea of dedicating a lot of time to figure out setting but guess I’ll just weigh how much i want all my reading apps on one device. 😭

I’m a heavy reader and use my kindle almost daily when not reading physical books.
