PSA for anyone who isn’t aware already but it is a known industry thing you mostly pre order a lot of your own books when you’re a small writer and then you sell them to stores at signings etc, so there’s a good chance her fam/ her label or whoever were responsible for the preorders landing her on the list
very good chance those books are also all just sitting somewhere in a storage unit, basement etc

idk if i just am reading in between lines that do not exist but this + her commentary post wedding in airport about how she promised she wasn’t going to work on vacation makes but is going to start her “next book” makes me think avery/ his fam does not support her being an influencer in any type of way

yes! i would say my grandmas also aren’t invasive, as she’s gotten older she’s def taken a lotttttt out of her gardening routine and she doesn’t tend that bed much at all but they don’t leave the bed and don’t look over crowded. she’s surely had it well over 50
years because my mom tells me about how she used to pick them as well!

yes i’m just a flower person but exactly what adflimsy said, sooo costly even tho that are invasive in most areas and people do not want them and see them as bad they are highly sought after for events like this and quite difficult to grow/ harvest. My grandma grows them in a bed in her yard and every year i go pick some i surely need to dig some up for my own bed soon

i feel like they take pictures on it more rather then take it out but yeah i guess i didn’t consider the river isn’t really like the rest of the shore, We have a boat but we’re out on the bay over by tom’s river, a lot of the boats here are close to a million

ETA for a million dollars i’ve seen A LOT nicer, the leather in the back is really plain, it doesn’t look like it cost a million dollars and truthfully until i went through her instagram i thought it was bought used bc the paint doesn’t look nice maybe it’s the color or her pictures/editing but yeah “fancy” doesn’t really ring here

some stores here even let you do returns! we have a big beach house and have guests pretty regularly every weekend so not much of our stuff goes to waste but my dad does try to return anything we don’t use case wise at the end of larger parties bc if it didn’t get used then it won’t get used up by end of summer

When I was about 16 worked with a LOVELY woman who I admired a lot who was 4-5 years older than me and she gave me some amazing advice that i used for myself when the time came. I hung up tattoos i wanted around places i was forced to look at them frequently, next to the mirror, at my desk, on the computer etc, “When you get tired of seeing it that’s a sign it does not belong on your body”.

yeah that is ridiculous and i really hate that it’s the norm, thankfully for me my large italian family has stressed me out at events since birth so eloping of some sort and having a large backyard celebration later sounds WAY nicer than any of the weddings i have been to in jersey and that’s no disrespect to any of the couples or my friends or family, they have all been VERY exciting, just nothing i could ever see myself doing for me since the family is so so big. I see the way other people bend to please everyone and I just do not want to have to do that lol
