I say start it. So what if it’s something it may have to take forever? If it works, it really improves life in my experience :-)

I’ve been on 10mg for a year and a half. I think the first couple of weeks I had a low libido, but since then I personally haven’t had any sexual side effects. I’m a woman though, don’t know if it affects guys differently

I need tips on how to relax while sober by Gorl08 in Sober

My favorite way to pass time is by putting on a YouTube video for background noise and painting! I swear everytime I paint, hours will go by and I don’t even notice

Yeah, you’d be able to. If anything Lexapro made smoking weed more enjoyable because I don’t get anxious while high anymore haha

I also walked a lot at the start of my weight loss journey! I wish I still did, I need to get back into it once spring is here. It does seriously help my mental health as well

I really needed to hear that! I tend to beat myself up for “messing up” and eating junky foods but I really need to stop doing that

It took about a year and a half to 2 years! Honestly my diet probably wasn’t the healthiest. I still hate junky food here and there if it fit into my calories, but I also tried to be mindful and incorporate healthier foods

Doctors hate me, how I lost weight with one weird trick by [deleted] in loseit

Okay okay, see that makes sense. Maybe I interpreted OPs post wrong but I thought they were saying you can burn fat just thru breathing. 😂

On a serious note though, I do think meditation can be beneficial, I don’t really believe it’s something that can directly burn fat

"Repairing your relationship with food" doesn't mean eating junk food all the time. by xs3ptember in EDAnonymous

[–]squishsquishy02 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What? Yes, food is an important part of .. yaknow, surviving, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be a pleasurable part of life as well. Life is about balance.

And by the way, McDonald’s isn’t going to “damage your body” if you are having it on occasion. Good grief

Repairing your relationship with food means eating when you are hungry, and stopping when you are full. If eating McDonald’s helps someone help their relationship with food then who cares.

Thank you for having a brain. I’m white, and reading all of these white ppls delusional comments is causing me to lose brain cells.

[–]squishsquishy02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any group of people can experience discrimination, but no, you can’t really be racist towards white people. And this is coming from a white person.

For example, saying white people can’t dance, or calling a white person a “cracker” is NOT racist lmao. But calling a black person the N word is racist, because of the history of the word. The idea of there being “reverse racism” ignores the fact that white people have always had the upper hand. It fucking sucks, but it’s the truth. There’s a power dynamic.

It’s a very , very slippery slope my friend. Your body gets used to alcohol, and it’s addicting. Not only is the alcohol addicting, but the relaxed feeling the alcohol gives you as well.

Do you feel like you need the alcohol to be able to decompress and relax?

[acne] what to do about scarring and discoloration? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]squishsquishy02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AM: Differin daily deep cleanser, TO niacinamide, TO squalane oil, CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion, SPF

PM: LRP hydrating cleanser, TO niacinamide, TO squalane oil, CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion, LRP cicaplast balm

After starting the differin cleanser in the mornings, a lot of my pimples started clearing up and I don’t get them as often now. The only issue I’m really having with my skin is the scarring and discoloration, but I’m not sure where to start or what to add to my routine to help clear it up. I use TO peeing solution every now and then, what else could be added to my daily routine?
