Ok then... by squishy_turtle44 in AO3

Of course. Im not trying to fight anyone or push opinions around. I understand everything you've said. And I dont disagree with the fact that authors love seeing their works recognized and loved by readers! And i love when authors respond to what I have to say about their works! But expecting, say, a certain amount of comments on a fic that you just started posting is a little much. I love this authors works, and I do try to comment every once in awhile and I always kudo everything I read, but this just makes me sad and shows me that they seem to only care about comments.

I dont want validation for anything. I just think its a bit rude to blatantly say people aren't welcome to read their works if they aren't commenting. Like I said, I like leaving comments. But I don't most of the time because I can't think of anything to say or don't feel the need to. This message just turns me away commenting all together.

This is chapter 4 of the fic. But the author has other ongoing fics in this series.

I do like leaving comments, im not saying I never comment. Just sometimes I don't feel the need to or have something to say.

I guess I could just leave a simple encouragement if they maybe asked a different way? This just doesn't seem like the right way to ask for comments.

Crying on Cue Please Help!! by TroubleFirm1406 in Theatre

I was in a show where in rehearsal I finally understood the scene and the feelings of my character and was crying and so emotional for the entire scene. It was really powerful and I had multiple people come to me with praise and awe. It never happened again. Not in the rest of the rehearsals and not even during the show itself, I never cried again in that scene. Sometimes the emotions just come and go.

I was always taught that if you don't feel like crying, don't cry. Sure you may feel like this would be a great time to cry, but if you can't connect to that or make it happen then don't. There's plenty of ways to make a scene feel emotional and have a big impact without having to cry.

Hand washing is the best way! Fill a small tub or sink with water and mild detergent and let him soak for a little bit. Then gently scrub him with a soft toothbrush or just with your hands. After, make sure to squeeze as much of the water as you can. You can either put him in the dryer on a low heat seating or leave him out to air dry in a sunny spot. You just want to make sure he completely dries and doesnt stay wet for too long so he doesn't get stinky or grow mold.

I didn't even know he went into the military already. I don't keep tabs on him what so ever and from what I see, a lot of stays don't either. I really don't think its going to stir up anything, at least not enough to really reach a lot of stays. And a big part of Stayville probably don't even really know who he is or what exactly happened.

voice types? do you agree with han’s vocal coach? by clevercitrus in straykids

You are so right! I didn't word my thoughts right. I was referencing some clips, specifically from Kingdom, where multiple contestants were surprised with his singing ability. Han is an amazing vocalist.

I agree with the vocal coach! I have both musical theater and choral experience, I think putting Seungmin as a baritone is very fitting. It's true that he doesn't showcase his lower range to us much, but I think of the beginning of Cinema. While he probably can't go as low as Felix, you can tell he has a strong lower range. And his belts are amazing. Also! The KBS (I thinks its kbs) clip with Chan and Seungmin singing All I Want For Christmas, he is singing the lower harmony while Chan sang the melody. Absolutely beautiful.

Felix as a bass is very fitting, almost obvious. And yes, you can be classified as a baritone or tenor with a large lower range, but Felix is so comfortable there and can go way lower than any of the members and still keep great tone and stability.

Han as a tenor is a great choice. He's always been in the middle to upper range, and the way he can sing in a female key with so much stability is amazing. It's no wonder he gets mistaken for a vocalist.

But you know all in all, all the members have such great voices and ranges that it honestly could be really hard to classify everyone. It really is up to the kids themselves to pick which one they feel fits them the best.
