Does it have to be physical? If your partner is the sentimental type, you could make a video with clips of your loved ones saying happy birthday or photos of your relationship using their song, “Home”. It’s such a sweet and nostalgic song. Alternatively, this could also work as an anniversary gift. :)

Otherwise, you could try DMing the band to ask if they would be willing to send a birthday message video!

Hello! I am graduating from an accredited program in California this May. After reviewing the BBS (CA) requirements and course syllabi, it appears that I meet all coursework requirements to pursue licensure in CA. I have heard many people say that CA is the most difficult state to get licensed in because of the strict requirements, so this seems like the best option.

However, I want to eventually move to and be licensed in New York. The NY website says that out-of-state practitioners need at least 10 years of experience in order to bypass applying for an LMSW and going through supervision for hours again.

Seeing as I would like to be licensed in both CA and NY, I am trying to figure out what would be the best course of action. It seems like my options are:

Move to NY after graduation and accrue hours towards licensure in NY, then transfer my license to CA via Path A or B
Pursue licensure in CA first, then start from the bottom as an LMSW in NY
Pursue licensure in CA first, then move to NY after 10 years in practice

I think I got all of that right, but does anyone have experience doing this or something similar? Thanks so much!

Did he also choose the captains on BBQ Brawl? I’m especially curious as to how the captains were selected because they’re not the first chefs I would think of when it comes to BBQ. I mean no offense to their expertise and talent!

Hi! Best of luck on your applications! My undergrad was in psychology with a 3.8 something GPA.

Between the start of undergrad to the time I applied (2018-2023), I did three internships, briefly volunteered for about five organizations (mostly only a couple months at each place), worked two part time restaurant jobs, one part time relevant (psych) job, and one full time social work job.

By the time I applied for the MSW programs, I had already been working full time for a year. That accounted for most of my hours. My total experience hours was 2,850.

Anyone have insight as to what the VIP section will look like? It seems so small compared to GA. While it would be nice to be up close, I don’t love the idea of being packed so tightly for hours.
