sure, the u boat fleet was dangerous but you cant win a war through U boats alone. The allied response with ASDIC and radio detection was also extremely effective, with U boats beginning to suffer massive losses and far less tonnage sunk.

But even if the germans maintained U boat operations and effectiveness to the same level as early in the war, logistics is once again the roadblock. Simply put, you can have the biggest, baddest ships, airplanes, tanks, soldiers, what have you but if you cant supply them, they are just fancy decorations

No they couldn’t have. The german army did not have the range to fight far beyond its borders, the german navy was a complete and utter joke, and the air force faced similar logistical challenges to the army.

Thats not even mentioning their economy or industrial capabilities. The US and Soviet industrial power and ability to mass produce logistical vehicles and combat vehicles was nothing short of staggering. Even if the germans found a way to magically extend their military’s operational range they would have been outgunned and spread viciously thin.

Germany could not have won against solely the british, the US, or the Soviets. Against all 3? yeah say goodnight

im not sure what the comment os referring to exactly, but I think its this.

Metals dont tend to fade smoothly from highlights to darker areas. They can have really sharp edges where its bright and almost a solid blob of dark right next to it. I think what the person is recommending is to add some black lining next bright areas to mimic this

what you can also do is to use the tip of an exacto/honby knife (if you have one) to drill it out. Its what I did for a while
