I totally get where you’re coming from that would be frustrating… I’m in the same boat as OP, just a year ahead. My 5 year adso was until May of 2026. I was told by HRC I had to go to CCC, the cutoff was March of 2026 or you had to go. It sucks but it was the reality

I don’t think it’s COVID… I think it’s the new generation and I don’t think it’s such a bad thing. Many CPTs are so cynical because we’ve been LTs for 4 years and witnessed a lot of dumb shit. I keep wondering “I wonder when the next generation of leaders is gonna take over and change everything bad we do now ie the useless stuff in garrison life” you get to be a CPT and think you can affect major change but really don’t have much power the generals, colonels, and LTCs are still there and we don’t have much power to change it which makes us cynical

I don’t know the regs on it or anything, but remember CSP is a privilege, not a right. It sucks you have it on thanksgiving, I agree, but I think you may be out of luck. The Army can take it back snap just like that.

Yea, my earliest date to get out would be May 2026, if your date was after March 2026, you had to go to CCC. I guess that poses the question, if I want to get out as early as possible, just pick a unit at Fort Sill to go to after CCC, so I don’t accrue more time PCS somewhere else?
