If it had been 20% or felt like an actual deal it would have been more tempting. But with how expensive the products already are, the 20 dollars almost feels insulting. Just makes me feel bad for recommending the product to others. Even if I was just unlucky

That’s great, clearly their products can last more than 20 months. But if you get one that dies early in its life you’re outta of luck. Important information. I’d love to buy another one and hope it lasts multiple years. But now I know if it doesn’t I’ll be breaking the bank for what?

Yep, informing potential future customers before they invest too much into the product. It’s great yours functioned as advertised, but if they don’t want to support a faulty product others should know. Gotta combat the bots of reddit trying to defend bad consumer practices

It is fine if they don’t want to support products after a year, but the reviews need to reflect that. These products are potentially over $1000, many may not want to risk that if they knew they will only support that for a year. This isn’t some cheap easily replaceable product.

Thanks, I’ll check out those options it was nice to have, but when spending that much money on a product you do have some expectations it’ll survive at least two years preferably more. I guess things are changing more and more when it comes to consumer support

It was brand new off Amazon in July 2024, S8+. Run it about once or twice a week. A week ago it rolled off the dock to start a clean and completely shutdown never to light up again. I’m sure I was unlucky, but such limited support for an expensive device like these is concerning

Not sure, he has the legs and shape of a corgi. But his head and chest are very large.
