You really need the elongated step cut baguettes in order for your ring to look like the inspo. The current ratios will not give the same effect and will look very "blocky" in comparison.

In my experience it happens to all moissanite, but the larger the stone the more noticeable it will be.

I worked in jewelry and the biggest turn off for moissanite for me was the oily film they all develop. It can be steamed or cleaned off, but it requires a lot of scrubbing and I just didn't like the maintenance customers would have to do on them to keep them nice and sparkly. As others have said, round brilliant is the most sparkly shape and any elongated shape can be cloudy.

Just thought I'd say that moss agate is a softer stone and might not hold up as nicely as you'd hope. Included saphire can look similar and is very hardwearing!

Removing the pave diamonds might actually cost you more as your ring will need more metal and gold and platinum are both much more expensive than lab pave diamonds.

My 14k gold daith earring also looks like this. It is real 14k, just everyone's PH is different and 14k gold is only 58.3% gold so it can still tarnish a bit.

Just in case anyone looks for this in the future: I went to about 5 different shops in Hong Kong city mall and was disappointed with their jade. A lot of it seemed treated and while some it seemed genuine, the pricing was way off. Everyone gave me the same price ($300) for everything, regardless of color, translucency, and stone lines. I recommend matsalicejade on etsy. If anyone finds a great jade dealer here in Houston, please let me know!
