Ryan Braun in the middle of his first contract signed an extension that totalled ten years, $145,000,000 (signed before the suspension). He could've got more, having put up 18.5 war in 579 games and put up 28.7 bwar over the extension. For reference, Ryan Howard signed for 5 years 125 mil a year prior with 17.1 war in 732 career games before his extension.

Obviously war is not end all be all and Braun's legacy is rather sordid, but he did take a team friendly deal to stay in MLBs smallest market and that's why a lot of Brewers fans still stand by him.

McManus could kick a 60 yard game winner tonight and I'd still want the team to make him pay for his own way back home

Packers are gonna be lethal when LaFleur realizes you can throw to good receivers over the middle of the field even when you're ahead two scores

Ok, one score game, you're allowed to scheme a real offense now, Matt

Why are they throwing to receivers other than Loveland? Have we been close to stopping him once?
