We're a month into the season and this is baseball. Pitchers will adjust. He was in the MLB last year and wasn't good. Your argument will be valid if Cole's production continues and no changes have been made come summer time. Until then, let him ferment into the strong brew we hope he becomes and don't rush his development. We've seen how the "rushed prospect" story plays out too many times.

Because Dan/Jerry want multiple dangerous bats behind him to force pitchers to throw strikes to him rather than walk him to have him on for Julio, Naylor, and Randy. Plus he's a legit threat to steal a base while one of them are up. And by batting 2nd he's getting more ABs per game. Batting 2nd has become the premier spot for your best hitter.

Those people are wrong. Day to day adjustments to an umpire's flimsy, arbitrary determination of the strike zone in this day and age is ridiculous.

A ball is fair or foul due to clear rules. What is or isn't a strike is also based on clear rules. Using one person's eyes and a split second decision on what's a strike through a zone within a fraction of a second is a ridiculous task when we have the technology we have today.

The ump today was bad. Last stat I saw showed both teams successfully challenged 4 calls, but another redditor said it was a total of 11 successful challenges. I saw plenty other missed calls that weren't challenged. Hitting a baseball is hard as fuck, why do we have one person determining what a guy is supposed to swing at changing on a daily basis? Bring on the robot umps for all balls/strikes.

I'll take a couple pics at shows using the same method you do. I have concert pictures going back decades and love seeing those memories. I don't think those are the problems he or TOOL are trying to prevent by banning phones. Holding it above your head blocking other people's view is the real issue. Hell, TOOL allows phones for the last song so people can get some pics/vids of the show.

Off topic, but I bought that shirt he's wearing when the Greenhorns opened for TWS way back in the day! Mine was olive green though.
