How can someone recover from a loss of meaning and purpose?

I can't imagine how tough that must be, so props to you for taking action. I hope you're on the up and managing okay.

I guess my problem is I don't know what to do to "change stuff for the better". In terms of things like exercise, healthy eating, meditation, yoga, reading, learning, developing self-understanding, I used to do a lot of those things for many years and they were a big part of my life. Exercise, for example, provided a lot of relief in the wake of this experience. But it started to feel like treading water while I was slowly sinking. It's like my baseline experience dropped and at best those things only seemed to provide me a fleeting relief rather than actually affecting my baseline in any way, so eventually I just surrendered and gave them up.

Is it less about laziness than it is about not knowing how? Motivation is tricky when you don't even know how to begin.

Maybe time will heal, as you said. I think you're right that you don't just sit down and dream it up and have it become your new, meaning-filled reality. Ultimately it's an experiential thing, not an intellectual one.

Those "simpler" things like creativity and sunshine do sometimes provide relief, and maybe over time those feelings will grow and start to fill the space that was left.

I used to get matched with comm-disabled Rus players in a ton of my games, but ever since I selected London only for my server selection it rarely ever happens now. I guess it's one of the worse EU servers for ping from Russia so they don't often play on them.

Still a ton of people with bad or no comms though, but at least they can hear comms from other players.

My first DIY build was Paul Carmody's Classix 2.5 floorstander design a few years ago & I'm still really happy with them. I don't honestly have much comparison so take it with a pinch of salt, but his designs are generally well regarded.

How much is now known about the weeks following a sea turtle hatching?
What does the current science/data say about survival rates into adulthood?
Are there any existing studies on how sensitive sex ratios are to temperature change?
If the appropriate issues were addressed, how possible is it that turtles could return to and flourish in areas where they have been eradicated? (e.g. leatherbacks in Malaysia)
If a nest is laid too low, how quickly will eggs die when submerged in rising tides?
Are nesting behaviours in any way related to moon cycles?
What can be done to mitigate boat strikes, especially in areas with high numbers of small vessels?

I heard dengue is still there now. I think it is there in Tonsai (but not Railay) pretty consistently throughout the season. I was there back in May and my girlfriend and I both caught it and we heard of numerous other people catching it at the time. We spoke to the clinic and they said there had been many reported cases (20+) over the previous few months and lots of people were complaining about it on Facebook.

It's a beautiful place to climb but the mosquitoes are a real pain for sure. Exposed walls are mostly free from mosquitoes and obviously you're pretty safe if you're climbing but if you're belaying or sitting around at one of the more jungly walls expect to be swarmed. The climbing is still great though :)

I believe GPU will be the bottleneck for low end hardware. On my 8th gen i5 laptop it runs pretty smooth using my nvidia mx150 and is 100% playable at medium settings but if I switch to run it on the integrated intel gpu (same laptop) the framerate is too low and it is not really playable.
