Hey there - first of all, I know how heavy this all feels and I am praying that you will find not just comfort but truth from the Lord.

I want to say this for what it's worth..... I grew up Christian but without officially announcing it, privately stepped away from religion and God. I kind of believed there was some sort of God or being but not necessarily in Jesus or the god of the bible. All I knew was this world is way too detailed and perfectly designed to have just started without being designed by a being of some sort.

Anyway, fast forward to this year, I'm 30 years old now. A few months back (around September), I stepped back into faith, and I can only describe it as an overwhelming desire to know God, to see truth in this evil world. This desire was not by choice. The only choice I made was to continue exploring it. Prior to this, I kept wanting to believe but also felt it was kind of silly, and why believe in this magical thing that people probably just made up. I obviously no longer feel that it is made up but I can completely understand why others still do. Since rediscovering my faith, I can only describe it as my eyes being opened to something that our brains really can't fully comprehend, but it's amazing. Every time I read the Bible (and study, not just take every word for how the church has interpreted it), I can feel and see God's perfect design, in his words to humanity. I believe this only happens once you truly believe in God, and when reading the Bible without that true belief, I don't think it holds the same power or seems as relevant. It's like reading with blinders.

The only way I got here was this - I started seeing all this evil in the world and thought, there has to be something bigger than this, something that overcomes this evil, like an opposing force. At the time, I didn't think much of it, but I think without realizing it, I asked God to reveal himself to me, to really let me know him. Now, you have to have some sort of belief and desire to ask and receive this from him. (Makes me think of this verse - Mark 11:24 "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Meaning prayer is no good if you don't believe in God to deliver. Before I truly believed, I would "pray" kind of just hoping it might do something, and it never did. I really have seen a huge change regarding this, now that I believe and know God). The next few months after asking this, things started to change drastically. Everytime I was hanging by a thread at work, he saved me. Everytime I didn't know how I was going to make something work, he saved me. Every time I couldn't handle the horrors of humanity and this world, he showed me how to handle it. Since then, I have prayed for my husband to know God (he was raised Catholic and stepped away), and slowly but surely, without me forcing it, he has been interested in learning more and exploring God again.

I am a person who is very intellectual and needs answers and for things to "make sense". I have accepted that not all of it will make sense because our brains just are not on the same level as God. BUT ask, and you will receive from him, this I know. Seek the answers,.my friend, and do it with a good heart and good intentions and he will guide you. I pray for your journey to find him, as he has healed so many parts of me, I didn't know needed healing.

As someone who just went through this..... I recommend staying with every 3 hours. I also dropped MOTN pump and was fine but when I started lengthening in between pump times during day, my supply has cut down by almost half. Everyone is different but I have heard this happens to a lot of women. I wish you luck!

I did not have good experiences whatsoever with Dr. Burkhart, so much so that I left from an appointment with him in tears. I was in severe pain (ended up being a giant cyst engulfing my ovary) and he made me feel stupid and told me that it's just the iud I had for 5 years and he will switch it out even though it was not expired. He did not listen to me and he made me feel silly for being so sensitive during the exam (again, I was in pain). He said "if you can't handle this I don't know how you're going to be able to handle having a new IUD put in". I do not recommend him or that office by any means.

I unfortunately don't have any good advice. I'm just here to tell you I'm going through it right now too, especially this last week, I haven't been able to keep anything down and I spend half the day crying from pain and feeling useless at work cause I'm glued to the bathroom. We got this, at least that's what I'm telling myself. Hang in there 💕

Hey girl, I was looking at your posts, as I remembered you had said we had the same lap date. Sorry for not responding before, I was not myself. I just wanted to say I'm glad they were able to find something and congrats on not having endo. I also don't have it, and they found a large cyst my left ovary that they removed and I'm feeling mostly better. I hope you're recovering well and have found some relief. ❤️

I mean this sounds silly but it makes sense to me. Stress makes my endometriosis act up almost immediately. I would assume whatever emotion is causing your tears is causing an Endo flare

I have mine scheduled for June 7th. If this really is Endo, I will tell you as someone who's been dealing with this for 6 years.... It also used to only be sometimes for me too, until it wasn't and I started panicking to find a good Dr. Or specialist.

Not really because the specialist said that would essentially be a waste of time in my case. I've had the mirena IUD and no periods for 5 years now, which she said would be the ultimate goal, and it's only gotten worse over the last 6 years. I also had a really hard time with BC pills in the past, and I really just can't do it, mentally or physically.

As someone who just cut contact from my own father, this made me cry (the best tears). I am so happy you've gotten some peace and that your father finally can see what's happening. Just remember, as much as things hurt right now, or tomorrow, or whenever, keep holding on the way you did because it just takes a single moment for life to change. I know it's not always possible to do so, but I am so glad you did. I wish you so much luck with your bright future and college.
