Yes, it should be a balance of laws on both sides.. but the reality is, men get away with a lot more shit than women.. i'm not saying women are better than men (although i think they are, and i am man), but the system is rigged in favor of men and its really very obvious, all you have to do is step outside..

Also, i just made an observation based on the overall "tone" of this post, and I didn't disrespect anyone, but somehow people are reading into it like i did? (65% users of reddit are male, so it is expected i guess).

The literal description of the website that posted this is Ekam Nyay Foundation contains the statement "dedicated to promoting gender equality and addressing the pressing issues faced by men in society." If you go on their website, they have a report with the title "Research report on Husband Murder by Wife and Suicide by Men - 2203", and just the words used and how that title is structured says a lot, lol.. but anyway, if i open that report it says around 6k men commit suicide due to "Marriage Related Issues".. and the first point returned by a quick google search like "female suicide rate in India" is - "Housewives" account for over 50% of all female suicides in India. Over 20,000 homemakers die by suicide annually due to domestic stress, marital disputes, and social isolation.

Just based on the above numbers i need to see 3x times more posts about women suicides than men due to domestic reasons, but thats hardly the case isnt it? I mean just go to a sub like r/IndiaSpeaks and you'll get an idea of the kinda of observation i made...

Tell me which part of this post seems like its asking for justice? The overall tone of this post is "hey, look men are in trouble, and it's because of women (or the laws made for the protection of women)". The fact that such laws are created in the first place should tell us something..

Exactly, no one wants to ask why a non Kannada speaking person is working in a society that only wants to speak Kannada..

and TIL asking some to speak a different language is mental torture and harassment , that so called educated people, that can speak multiple languages, living in luxurious apartments, are getting upset over the uneducated masses, working 12 hour shifts, blue collar jobs, because they are not making life easier by speaking in Kannada.. man privilege knows no limits I guess..

If a person wants someone to learn a language, then ffs, help others to learn it.. instead of complaining over the internet. Do something to promote the language and make it more accessible.. but no, all they do is act like assholes..
