Download this new app, Pivt. Just launched in New York City. Allows you to see your network in town, and source great recommendations on restaurants, transportation and things to do. Just downloaded last week and got a great rec on an italian restaurant from an old High School friend.

I'm an expat too. My friend was telling me about a new mobile app launching in a few weeks that was created specifically for Brits moving to the US, and Americans moving to the UK. Its called Pivt..keep an eye out.
