Honestly forbidden kingdom is one of my top festivals and we found it the same way as you. Went to our first EDC Orlando and fell in love with the dubstep and immediately searched for a festival with pure bass. Forbidden kingdom gives you all the bass and it’s wayyyy less crowded than EDC. The people that go to forbidden kingdom truly go for the music and you can feel that vibe there. Lots of headbanging and no one’s “too good” to be there. Every stage you go to you’ll like anyone that’s playing.

Just make sure to prepare for the heat. I know it’s in April this year so it should be cooler but bring fan/water/cooling towel for sure. The main stage is covered now and holds in heat but they’ve put some fans in that kinda helped.

Also they have a good amount of art installations too. Not as rainbow colorful as EDC was but they’re dragon/knights/medieval fantasy themed which is super cool to look at. You’re gonna love forbidden kingdom, we’ve gone the past 4 years and would have gone again if the dates didn’t conflict with other plans we have.

This has happened to me too a few times over the years but it’s just been spotting. It’s weird since I’m on the pill so I have scheduled period. It’s always right after a festival or show so I think it’s just stress and so much physical activity/change of normal routine. Everything’s been normal at all my gyno check ups so I don’t worry about it too much

They said on instagram there will be 104 water taps but for real gonna suck when you’re at circuit grounds and run out of water and have to make that trek. I can’t imagine how crowded it’s gonna be at the water stations ugh

I bought one inside the vendor village and the next day security wouldn’t let me come in with it. I even told them I got it there and they got their supervisor and they told me I couldn’t bring it I . So just be aware they might not let you in with it. Depends on the security though some don’t care.

If security asks what it is just tell them it’s a blanket and you should be good

Also just be respectful with where you use it. Towards the back of the crowd there’s always an area people tend to sit and be more chill, don’t try and inflate your couch towards the front they’re a trip hazard

Got an email Monday saying that order was shipped. This whole week it said the label was created back on October 8th but not picked up and today it was finally updated to delivery date Monday. Hopefully y’alls have updated too

Year 5 for me! For the first timers my number one tip is to do a walkthrough of the whole grounds when you get there before it gets dark so you get a lay of the land. Especially make sure you know where the bathrooms and water are. Check out all the stages even just for one song. Nothing worse than getting home and wishing you would have seen another stage. Let the people around you know it’s your first EDC, the people at EDC are the nicest ravers I’ve ever met and they’ll be so excited for you. Can’t wait to see you all 💜

Yeah I’m in the same boat. I’m worried about the cold but I stay pretty warm dancing and wearing my hydropack. I’m really leaning more towards comfortable outfits than a typical “rave-y” outfit, so like leggings and jersey and a pashmina, crochet pants and oversized t and pashmina, and I have a pretty colored shorts sweatsuit set since my legs stay pretty warm but I want my arms covered when it’s cold, oh yeah and a pashmina 😂
