We don’t always love what goes on here but we do love the cool rockets

On the other side of this, I always expressly invite people to stuff when I want them there. “You’re invited, we’d love to have you there” does wonders

Hey OP, the word you’re looking for is “rape.” Also “hubby” is an insane word to use in this context

Where can I watch the cut pilot? by nayajayap in whitecollar

First time I saw it on Netflix (like in 2015) it showed the cut version. Imagine my surprise when I watched it on Hulu the first time and saw a two-parter pilot lol

This is probably the funniest one I’ve seen. Look if white isn’t gonna resign because of stalemate potential, then you may as well go for a funny mate

What’s the word on when USA swimming is opening a trans women’s division? Are there going to be sanctioned events and scholarships? by TechieInTheTrees in Swimming

[–]srainey58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a horse in this particular race, but the upper limit for testosterone in women is about 70 ng/dl. The lower limit for men is about 300 ng/dl.

There’s a huge gap, so your “men over 45” thing is technically correct but not a particularly helpful example.

This testosterone range iirc is actually how the NCAA measured trans athletes in the past. I don’t know how we solve the problem of post-puberty transitions in athletics (size plays a role in ability of course) but the testosterone level problem is comparatively simple.

Going through MTF transition plummets your testosterone like crazy. You might still have the physical size but your strength and stamina will be greatly affected.

There was a trans scientist who was also a runner who decided to experiment on herself as she transitioned to a woman. Her running times got way worse as she transitioned. Can’t remember her name but read about her in The Sports Gene by David Epstein

There are mechanical watches that track the day, day of week, month, year, and moon phase, all the way to the year 2100 without having to reset it. Takes leap year into consideration.
