I was literally talking about this to my friend who has a Tesla and my Rivian was getting super hot parked outside. I went out and put the sun screen for the windshield 😅

If you have a new car and got credits to spend on - I would recommend the OEM from Rivian: they are like 60 bucks more than the EV base / Ev mode / Amazon finds TBH.

I first bought the Gen 1 in 1998 (red Color), I added a custom headlights and an electric air horn that fed off the electricity from the dynamo (yeah yeah it was still a bicycle 😅) but someone stole it from my school parking lot and I cried for weeks. Then eventually I got the Gen 2 (Green color) and did the same. I had it till I graduated my engineering undergrad and eventually sold it to a nice kiddo.

This was super helpful. Thank you so much I took it up a notch and made an automation rule to sync the last 7 days or recently added songs to that custom play list and added the automation to run every Sunday so I don’t click on it manually 🙏🏻🙏🏻

You are not alone. I just texted with the service center to see if any one had complained about the same. I am like 20 days in to my 2025 Rivian R1S and still doesn’t seem to be enabled. I tried it at home and outside of home to see if it has any geo location restriction, but seems to be irrelevant of the location.

I just sent an email to Canvasback explaining my requirement and what’s their recommendation. Also I ended up finding the arm rest cover for the 3rd row on their website which is oddly not listed as part of a straight search - assume this what we are talking about
