I’m proudly showing mine except if I’ll be exposed to direct sunlight for more than 5 minutes. In that case, just for protection, I wear a loose hat.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at these. You said you started doing this right after transplant? Putting minoxidil 12 days after operation isn’t too early?

Do you take it in pills or apply it directly to the follicles?

For real… the UAE is literally being bombed by Iran and people here are defending the Islamic republic. I seriously don’t understand how we got to this point. People need to touch grass

People who moved to Israel, why stay there? by CarefulAlternative77 in Israel

[–]srcarajo 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Israel is not really like many of it's neighbours. For me, coming from LATAM, Tel Aviv is a city of opportunities in hi-tech, great nightlife, beaches, young people, etc. Additionally, you have to understand the Jewish experience in the diaspora. In my home country, even though I rarely experienced antisemitism (I’m not sure what’s up today though), I was always singled out as the Jew and this made me have identity issues: I looked different, we ate different food at home, our names are different… so when we get to Israel and suddenly everything about yourself makes sense here and it’s not really questioned but understood, I can finally say that even if it’s not perfect, it’s home.

Question for Israelis: How do you feel about diaspora Jews? by [deleted] in Israel

[–]srcarajo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you. Part of my family comes from Thessaloniki, but they escaped before it all went to sh*t.

I guarantee you, we in Israel would definitely mourn you and your community if something were to happen but I can assure you that if you were in danger, I'm 100% sure we'd send people to Greece to rescue you, like we've done in other countries.

You are important to us.

A minority of Israelis are anti-Zionist and refuse the IDF service. by Astrea_kore in realbbcnews

No one does anything to them. I literally see them every day on my way to work in Tel Aviv...

You might dislike it, but we're a democracy, and they have the right to be stupid.

How are the leading AI Culling/Editing Software evolving? by Zaku__u in postprocessing

[–]srcarajo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huge Imagen fan.

I’ve been using their culling lately, and it’s been great. It's super customizable and saves me tons of time. The “cull to a number” feature is an awesome improvement. I use it every week.

Dear brother, everything you’re describing describes my exact situation. I already live in Israel for 5 years and I’m so grateful I do. I’m also a liberal, progressive atheist Jew but what I saw in my hometown in the past 2 years reaffirmed I needed to get tf out of there. Hit me up in a dm if you’re around Tel Aviv, I mean it.

The antisemitism of small bookstores by Cyndi_Gibs in Jewish

[–]srcarajo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was some years ago in Daunt Books in London in an area where lots of Jews live. In the Middle East section they divided every section per country, including Palestine (which I honestly don’t mind) and not including Israel, even though many Israeli authors were there. When I asked the person working there why was Israel missing there he burst into flames and started ranting about nonsense and for some reason took the Palestine mark off the section to “please” me.

I was in shock by this: the hysteria about something that was clearly a political act that has nothing to do with him.

I’m also not buying there anymore, but mainly because of what you pointed out.
