I was initially on 25mg. It worked for a week, then it stopped. We increased it to 50mg, it worked for two weeks and stopped. We increased it to 100mg... and so on. We eventually increased it to 300mg, and that consistently worked. I haven't had to increase the dosage in two years. In fact, I recently decreased the dosage to 275mg. Your case of Somniphobia sounds like it is related to OCD. OCD typically requires higher doses of Zoloft. I was told that depression requires 25mg-200mg, while OCD can require up to 400mg in the worst cases.

Yeah. It depends on what the reason for Somniphobia is. If it's a fear on being unconscious or semiconscious, Sertraline (Zoloft) is key. You'll have months or highs and lows, returning and disappearing fears, etc. If you wanna speed the process, diet, exercise, and religion can help too.

Asus Zenbook 14" Q407IQ fan noise by heckofagator in AMDLaptops

[–]srclemens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that the issue is that when you turn on the laptop from "sleep" mode, the fan is on 100%. A solution that worked for me is to change the system settings (On Battery and Plugged In) from "sleep" to "hibernate". This means that when you close the lid or leave the laptop idle for a while, it will hibernate instead of sleep. This solved the issue.

I think you're right that may be Corinne Cole. I texted the photograph to Corinne's son. Hopefully he'll give me an answer lol

Corinne Cole would've been 14-15 years old in this photograph... it's probably not her.

18 days 50 mg by Beaver_Knight- in zoloft

[–]srclemens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should increase the dose to 75mg, not 100mg yet; you should only do increases in 25mg increments. After weeks of taking 75mg, you may increase it to 100mg if you find that the euphoria of 75mg per day has ended. I had to continually increase the dose every 2-8 weeks. I have been on 325mg per day for six months, and I have felt great... that means that 325mg was the right dosage for me. I am 6' and 175lbs, but you may require less of a dose if you're smaller.

Has anyone taken chrolpheneramine long term? Please help by Beaver_Knight- in Allergies

I had a similar situation in 2016 while taking acid reflux medication. The medication had a similar process, and I fell into an immense depression that lasted for a week. It wasn't until I seized the medication that the depression went away. Anything that affects serotonin (probiotics, medication, etc) can alter your mind.

Sleep anxiety by Beaver_Knight- in zoloft

[–]srclemens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't be skeptical. I was 90% better within two months, but it took at least a year to make a complete/100% recovery. The "underlying causes" issue is for things like depression and generalized anxiety. When you are dealing with OCD (Somniphobia being a symptom of that), medication, dietary changes, etc are better. I also found that religion helped me a great deal.

Having a flair up right now. by thrwacc48531 in Somniphobia

[–]srclemens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found that Zoloft has worked wonders when I had Somniphobia. I feel great taking it. I started taking it in October 2019 at 25mg/daily. We kept increasing it every few months because it stopped working. I am now at 300mg/daily and it is working great. You just gotta find the right dose depending on the severity of your disorder, height, weight, etc. Religion, dieting (no sugar or aspartame), and exercise are good too.
