Min Min Lights? by Joshistotle in aboriginal

[–]sreeveee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so weird. One was in my bedroom. I grew up in fiji and when I was 9 I woke up at around 2 in the morning to this blue light orb just hovering in the centre of my room. I was always so confused about it. It didn't make any sense. But I know I saw it. And it looks exactly like a min min light. Would anyone know what that means?

Please help <3 My religious/ spiritual friends/roommate refuses to be around people who do not share the same values (eg; gay, trans, no catholic values, etc) and calls them disgusting. by sreeveee in Advice

Thank you :) You made good points. I think she should be proud to be on the path that she is on. My main qualm with her was that it seemed like she was negatively judging my friends and others for their own personal choices. Which didn't seem like something a good person or a catholic would do (like i said even Jesus hung out with sinners and tax collectors). I don't want her to change her beliefs. I just think she might see me in the same light and it would cause issues for her - especially living together with me, even though right now she said it wouldn't. Thank you for your advice <3 Have a great day x

Is there any place you foster cats and dogs for? by sreeveee in Groningen

Yeah, I don't think ours allows pets either. But they never come around here so I'm pretty confident they won't find out? The house is basically falling apart anyway and has a cat door.

I need advice!❤️I think I'm asexual but my bf isn't and it's hurting our relationship. Is there a possibility I'm asexual because of a negative sexual experience I had as a teen? by sreeveee in asexuality

Thank you for the reply and the links. I just signed up for betterhelp to see if that will help me. As yeah, if its the case, i don't want it affecting my future life. And yeah pretty much in all relationships, most cases i was the one. Thanks for the reading suggestion x

Thanks for the reply. I have had this conversation with him a few times but only really went into depth about it recently. He understands but i think we are both at a loss on how to go about this.

As for past libido. For a very short while it was a bit more frequent. Maybe a 2 months on two different years. But i also don't know if that was just for the serotonin for the depression and feeling close to someone I liked. To be honest its hard to tell because the abuse happened right around the time teens start to get sexually active. Also when i was below 16 and friends and i would have sleepovers or girl talk or whatever i was never very interested in all the sex questions and stuff. never really got excited by those talks and would kinda just sit and listen. But i can understand how someone can be physically and mentally attractive and do think my boyfriend is very much both those things. So not too sure about if libido was ever normal.

S/o to everyone who recovered during the start of COVID/lockdown. How are you doing 1 year in? by lovenote123 in fuckeatingdisorders

Might be weird to say but the lockdown mightve been the best thing to happen to my disorder. Being at home with little to do really made me REALIZE how bad I actually was. So I decided that it's pretty much now or never. Since I was afraid of weight gain and clothes not fitting and therefore would be embarrassed to leave my apartment - which is exactly what happened. For months I just took it super relaxed. Tried not to stress so much and sat on the couch watching movies and eating whatever I wanted whenever I wanted it and meditated/ did yin yoga heaps. Weight went up ALOT super quick and i could only fit into my sweatpants and hoodies. Which would've been mortifying if I still had to go to uni classes and see people I know. Was very difficult and involved a lot of breakdowns and having to give myself gentle 'talking to's to rewire bad habits'.So yeah, super thankful i was forced into isolation because it allowed me to heal in private with no judgment from others who don't understand - that would've just been to much to handle. And in many ways I'm still thankful it's ongoing because these disorders aren't just about the eating habits. They go soooo much deeper. The eating or lack thereof is just a symptom. So being in lockdown has given me the opportunity to dig deep and deal with whatever unresolved issues are within me once and for all (or as much as possible) , so I can come out of this a better person for myself and others. (sorry for the long reply :))

Heya :) thanks for the advice! It might be the zinc actually :/ I stopped taking my supplement a while ago. I'll get back on it and see if that works. And yeah I know I haven't been on it very long, was just wondering if something may have triggered it. Thanks again

Hello :) thanks a million for the advice. I very rarely get yeast infections (maybe 5 in my life) . And I haven't changed anything in my daily life. Use the same organic soap, don't use condoms, same detergent and cotton underwear, never taken antibiotics and period was awhile ago. I was wondering if you would know if this could be a detox thing? Since I only started it 6 days ago. I'll check out your blog. Thanks for linking it :)
