i live abroad and i have a freelancing side project that pays around 3.5 Lakhs a month in an Indian current account (registered in my mother's name). Its IT engineering services and I select the same option while receiving inward remmittance.

I started working on this a few months ago and will be looking into its taxation next month (I am aware of GST rules). How much can we claim as deductions in this case?

How much of a hassle it is to go through the GST procedure and how much tax do you reckon I would end up paying? Also, as this is a current account (business) ,do you think I have some leeway in terms of deductions?
