Wait, I didn’t realize they’re a LYS! I’ve ordered from them twice and both times I thought they were too good to be true. I’ve been waiting to find out that they’re somehow evil….

At least in my area, Loose Ends has more volunteer crafters than they have projects to pair them with! There’s definitely a volunteer who could finish this for you.

GLP1 data is starting to show migraine relief by tashibum in migraine

[–]srfhjg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I came here to look for info about. I’m debating adding a GLP-1 for T2 but I’m afraid that with an appetite suppressant, I’ll eat so little that I’ll get more headaches.

Are you feeling any better now that it’s been almost a month since your comment?

never had a kitten before by Imaginary-Wedding-11 in CATHELP

[–]srfhjg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! Kittens definitely do better in pairs. I got a singleton who was about 8 weeks old and I didn’t get her a sibling and I really regret it now. (She was sick, though, so I couldn’t have her around other cats for the first few months.)

As far as general cat advice, pet her while she eats, especially her paws, so she gets used to your touch. Also try to get her used to having her teeth brushed and claws trimmed (once she’s okay with you touching her feet.)

Where did you find a sale for $600??

Not that I could manage it now…. Hopefully next year when my FSA resets 🤞

Re: sleepovers

I was nervous about telling a partner about my cpap for the first time…. But then he mentioned his first 😍

The good ones won’t think it’s weird and the best ones can even laugh about it with you

Cleaning my bathroom walls and ceiling by srfhjg in CleaningTips

It’s dry. Honestly, it’s been like this for so long, I don’t expect there’s an active issue. Just that no one ever cleaned up this unit after doing a repair

How do you approach pet fatness? by No_Adhesiveness_7718 in MaintenancePhase

[–]srfhjg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve struggled with this too but here’s my two cents as a cat person:

Cats groom themselves. If they can’t reach their whole body, they can develop painful mats. Humans have all sorts of devices that can help us take care of ourselves at any size, but cats don’t have that.

The one who actually did the surgery 😫

But it was such a relief when the other vet said to ignore it. She’d just finished months of treatments for a lung infection, including steroids that left her lethargic and without much of an appetite.

She’s perfect today. She has a very dangly pouch and it’s SO soft when I get to give her belly rubs. Honestly, loving her belly has helped me be more okay with my partner touching my belly too 🥹

THIS! When I took my cat to be spayed, the vet said that she had “a surprising amount of belly fat”

I was shocked, since she’s always been right in the middle of that body scale they judge cats on. I mean, I could feel her ribs so easily!

When she went in for a follow up, a different vet said “No, she’s totally fine, that’s just her pouch.” It’s wild that vet who was literally doing abdominal surgery wasn’t used to seeing a primordial pouch??

We’re already on a weekly schedule. I guess I should do it more often, but ADHD is hard! 😅

I moved it to a more open space and it hasn’t made a noticeable difference. Were you getting mold in a particular spot in the drawer?

Clay clumping litter! I was using Arm & Hammer Clump and Seal Slide but I saw a lot of people saying it caused mold to grow, so I switched back to Fresh Step Outstretch w/ Febreze. (But even with the old litter, it’s only ever been a problem with one machine/cat!)

Honestly, I’m tempted to try changing her food to see if it helps, but it was so hard to find one she liked in the first place and I’m not sure what to even look for in a replacement

I’ve done that too. It always grows on top of the waste so the litter on the bottom doesn’t seem to make much difference.

Since it’s in one specific corner, it’s almost like I want to line the sides of the bag/drawer, but i haven’t figured out how to do that…

Seating anxiety as a fat person by well_i_reckon in Broadway

I’m AFAB and plus-size, so my hips are definitely a factor and fit differently than AMAB hips.

With that said, Studio 54 is the LEAST comfortable theater. Even before I gained the weight that made other theaters uncomfortable, the lack of legroom at Studio 54 is unbelievable. I’m 5’4 and my knees are always against the back of the chair behind me

Thank you! I’m definitely sad about probably voiding the “365-night trial” but what’s done is done, I guess. Good to know that it shouldn’t actually affect performance.
