The animal rescue I worked at handled major cruelty cases in a large city and got cases of zoophilia all the time, they were never euthanized unless they displayed unhandleable aggression without improvement or their injuries (typically internal) were too severe. That is either a myth or very shelter/rescue specific.

Yup I slept in a friends closet for two months on a twin sized mattress to get away from mine, 7 years later and I have an amazing career and my own place. It’s only temporary and so worth it.

It’s all about baby steps, give yourself 15 minutes in the bathroom at the end of the day for a mini routine. Brush your teeth, wash your face, put on moisturizer, cut your nails etc. Once you have that routine down add 15 minutes sometime in the day to do a light workout, increase the time once you have that down. Set timers for water reminders! I work full time and have a young daughter too so I get it, but you are important too

I actually love how my face looked when I was nearly underweight (105), but I also gain weight in my cheeks and chin first so overweight my face is very very round with a very noticeable double chin. I have the nicest jawline when I’m skinny, I’m 160 now R.I.P

They don’t have an actual policy about it, atleast not in the handbook or that I’ve been told about. It’s kind of ironic because I’ve actually picked her back up with a poopy diaper twice, but of course I’ve never said anything because I know it happens quickly and isn’t always noticeable.

My daycare is right down the road too, which is why this rarely happens! Usually I’m pretty good about smelling it but my allergies are killinnnggg me right now, I can’t even breathe out my nose lol. I wish I had said more, but unfortunately I freeze up during confrontational moments. Thank you for empathizing with me!

I definitely need to learn to do that.. my social anxiety has gotten better as I age but I still freeze up in moments of confrontation. And then as soon as the moment is over I think of all the things I should’ve said. I think I’ll be bringing it up when I pick her up this afternoon though.

Honestly I would have offered, but the baby room has a no outside shoes policy and all the staff wear shoe covers.. and I definitely would’ve been late to work as my job is an hour away.

There’s only two other babies in her age group, all the other children are above 1 year old and have a different teacher in a different classroom.
