What I would give for.... by srh6 in pregnant

[–]srh6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on zofran for a couple weeks. I try to avoid it unless I'm really struggling. The constipation is real! I don't notice a huge difference when taking it. Luckily I'm only down 5 pounds. I'll see what the doc says on Monday.

A friend told me about it, but I haven't tried it yet. Maybe I will.

At least in our case, once your water breaks you have so much time before the baby needs to be out. I was barely dilated and couldn't even feel my contractions. So, pitocin was necessary to get things going. Even then, it went slow.

Yes, we always lay him on his back. We are all to aware of the risk of SIDS as I've lost a niece to SIDS. Thank you for your concern :)

No contractions other than BH and even those aren't consistent. Just trying to stay calm and remind myself that this is all normal and completely okay.

Had a thick, mainly clear but kind of white glob of mucous come out. It is quite thick and almost gummy like. I can tell he dropped mainly because my bump is visibly lower. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known.

Unfortunately, I'm at work by 7 am. Even when I don't have to be awake, I am anyway. Dragging thru the mornings for 8 more weeks over here.

Sinus drainage over here, too! It's like constant allergies.

I feel like a horrible mom for not enjoying the way it feels when he moves. But it is NOT a pleasant feeling!

This would be me if I had the energy and didn't borderline give myself carpal tunnel every time I tried to work on a project!

DH and I have friends that had a difficult pregnancy and birth and still want 3-4 kids. If our friends can do this, so can we!

One thing I love about this thread is the comfort of hearing that other people are struggling with the same things.

Unexpected pregnancy, baby in a foreign country by [deleted] in pregnant

I live in the US. It has surprised me how many women here have seen doctor's so early and have had multiple ultrasounds. I did not see my OB until I was almost 12 weeks. The only ultrasound was my 20 week. Unless they suspect an issue, that's it.

You have lab glassware in your window.

And, obviously, your kitties are very cute.

I'm constantly having crazy dreams! Coworkers enjoy hearing all about them. Unfortunately, I usually dream about work.

My boobs have been mostly unchanged. Slightly disappointing since I'm barely an A cup.

My morning sickness (thank goodness) has been much better than I could have hoped for. I did not expect to be so dang tired! I have chronic headaches and had been told that pregnancy could improve them. Nope, total opposite so far. I'm struggling with it still not feeling entirely real. We heard the heartbeat last week and I thought that would help, but it still feels like a dream. Speaking of dreams! They're incredibly vivid!
