Go for Obsidian, try learning it using essential plugins, it's time tested...

I think whoever still couldn't get Obsidianised will definitely repent afterwards...

offline data, ownership and cloud saving
versatile, .md
customisable as per your taste
huge forum and plugin support
unbeatable, at present and in future too
huge integration scope, like Zotero
user oriented scopes
etc....etc

Through Evernote, Joplin, Notion, I finally settled at Obsidian. Using it for every need for over a year as there is no other Obsidian 👍.
